Most of my costumes are just plain no fabric like regular clothing so I wash them anyway but it's nice to know that foam can be washed more than just wiped off

She says warm water, not hot. It probably could re-heat the foam and warp it if you used hot water, so I'd follow her instructions so that everyone does it safely (for the sake of their costumes)! :)

Yes they can, just be gentle and don’t rub anything too harshly. Soap, shampoo or mild detergent are good 👍🏻 just remember rinse don’t scrub
