The Gamechanger Audio Plus Pedal is not your average stompbox looper - it's an extension of your instrument that bridges the gap between your rhythm and lead playing, making it easy for guitarists and other musicians to explore new sonic frontiers. The Plus Pedal utilizes Gamechanger's proprietary audio algorithm that lets you capture and sample small segments of your instrument’s signal in real time and loop them into a seamless sustained sound. Unlike granular synthesizers and synth-pad triggers, Plus Pedal actually plays a constant high-resolution recording of your instrument and, once engaged, the real-time sampling algorithm instantly creates a micro loop out of the most recent audio signal.

Jeff Pierce is the guy for this pedal.
I love how this gets these moody sounds out of the guitar. It’s close to a piano sound, which is neat.
Just got mine today from Sweetwater! Easy learning curve, looks, feels and works great!
Excellent review. Much better than every other one I've seen because it actually explains the possiblities more fully, truly painting a clear picture of what you get for your money (there are many comparisons done with the Freeze, often followed with comments about the price - but now I see what the real difference is). The only thing this pedal-shy guitarist (me) doesn't really get is "wet" and "dry" (actually I do have a few pedals, but all in all, not as many as most).
I didn’t know Tim Heidecker did pedal reviews. I’m sold!
Very Cool. That Intro was Smooth & Jazzy. I can see using this for Ambient Music.
What a cool way to practice jazz runs. This pedal is a must have in my book!
Just love the fact that these guys are trying something new.
I remember hearing this pedal a few years back when it first came out. Man this thing sounds good !
That’s a very cool pedal! Thanks for the video.
Killer demo! Dudes I just want to say I bought one of these today in Santa Monica at the Game Changer demo for 20% off and I'm just freekin blown away by this pedal. It's so beautifully made and is so inspiring. It's so extremely dynamic and super elegant.
I'm jealous ! :)
Still using it ?
@@Tonyolivere yes for sure! I recently connected it to my Leaf Audio Soundbox.
This would be a nice additional dimension for an ambient rig
That guitar is a dream
My favourite kind of pedal...one that improves musicality and the musical range of the guitar instead or colouring or inhibiting it. If I had a tad more coin, I'd buy one this second!
Awesome 🎸
Oh man, this is sweet!
Was this the company a couple of years ago that had an actual piano sustain pedal in a box they rigged into this pedal with? It was still in development but looked promising.
That! I need that.
Thanks for the informative video. You mention layers in group mode.Is it number of notes or number of times we play/strum?
Hi, TriumphinChrist. Layers refer to groupings of either single notes, chords, or short sequences that the Plus Pedal records and uses to create loops. In group mode, you can stack these layers atop one another by pressing down the pedal again. You can stack up to five layers.
Thanks for the interest!

I can see Sigur Rós rocking this
lol, you still need a bow to make their effects
This things coool
How does he do the last thing? The loop is doing fast tremolo picking and he’s doing a slow arpeggio.
it has an effects loop so you can modulate only the sustained tone. it's the wet/dry division of sound.

It’s like an ebow for your feet.
Wow a stain pedal for guitar!
I am getting one for my car to keep the engine up to speed after I run out of gas
I like the idea, I just wish it worked better with the piano sustain type sounds and really blended in the background. When I tried one, it kept making this throbbing noise and it was too distracting. I get the EHX Freeze type sounds, but at that price point I’d rather get the Freeze if that’s all it does well
Good idea on the EHX Free. I think there may be some plugins out or coming up soon that could do the job too.
so it's basically an EHX freeze with 5x as many features that 99% of people will never use
kinda boards of canada
Killer dive bomb 0:42 bra
How boring... ugh. Play piano...
😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
