this presenter is an arrogant brat, he talked sh** about italy as well throughout the first half of the result process. As a contestant, you think you would be entitled to a basic level of politeness...apparently not.
ESC 2011 had the best opening, best hosts, best staging, but unfortunately the worst winner... Germany knows how to put up a show and everything was organized just perfect , best year in my opinion excluding the winner
Yash shingan , totally disagree! Portugal had the worst stage ever! Ukraine had the most beautiful stage ever. Openings were masterpieces, and presenters were amazing 💖
notice how many spanish people were in the stadium at 41: 45 begging for points from portugal. the spanish singer even thanked portugal in our language, so cute.
Oh stfu. At least we here in the Nordic countries and the rest of the Western part of Europe share the points to the east as well. We vote for the good songs, the Eastern only vote for each other. Romania somehow always ends up doing well despite sending trash songs every year. The East-block as we call it is nothing but politics.
i have to say the 2011 Eurovision is the most organized eurovision ever!!!! Very nice show from start to finish!!! Great staging!!! Great postcards!!! Great everything!!!! I'm not sure about the winner though!!! THE SONG IS A LIL BIT THIN for my taste!!!
Love how every neighbor-like voting gets heavily booed throughout the night, but France & Portugal give Spain 12 points & there are loud cheers in the arena. Kinda shows how underrated Spain was that year, deserved much better than 23rd.
+Petar Mihaljevic It was a great show not so good as Copenaghen or Stockolm were but the winner and the quality of the songs were much worse than the ones in 2014&2016
There was a time many years ago where I only watched old Eurovision finals to watch the voting, now I always skip the voting when I watch old Eurovision finals :D
That moment when you see your country getting twelve points.... I was so proud of Jedward in 2011 😃👍 This was one of the best Eurovision years! The staging was amazing, the hosts were great crack. And the winners were so unexpected but deserved. And so far in the 10's, this was Ireland's best year! xo
***** hahaha Ireland was a country before the British invaded it but OK and what does that have to do with anything anyway? and seriously calm down 😂 When was the last time Ireland did so well in the 2000's-2015? Just showing a bit of pride that's all 👍😉
Honestly ESC 2011 brought out many lovely Songs. Beside 2000 its best collected Songs of ESC . Almost all of them are wonderful. It s a personal taste of Course and unfortunately some votings are political stuff (which i disagree at most) Anyway, Azerbaijan absolutely deserved to win this contest. I love this song. Congrats
Raphael Gualazzi (Italy) ended 2nd with Madness of Love, but he should have won, best performance my country has ever given and CLASSY AS HELL. The presenter kept laughing at Italy throughout the first 1/2 of the voting process (until he realized we were a serious thing) bad taste, btw...you're the presenter, behave just a little.
This was as brilliant a voting as they can come with over 40 countries voting. Nail-biting, thrillingly unpredictable and with some quite interesting twists. And best of all, neighbour-voting at an all-time low. This voting deserves 12 points.
I love Graham Norton, I really do, but I hate how he's like a lot of people in the UK are; who want the UK to win because it's the UK, not because we have a good song!
Watching this again, I really think Azerbaijan deserved to win. It wasn’t an obvious winning song but it was beautiful and had such a lovely message. I’m glad they won.
I haven't heard English commentators of Eurovision song contest before, so I cannot compare, but I liked this guy!He was so sarcastic and sometimes auto (self)- sarcastic. I really enjoyed him...Kisses from Greece!
the eurovision has always been broadcast in english and french (with certain greetings being stated in the host nations language), so when the french (and belgians btw) announce their scores, they announce it in one of the two broadcast languages, and the hosts translate it back to english...
I completely agree with you. This was one of the votings which had a big suspense almost until the last minutes like 1988, 1991, 2003 and 2005. 1994, 2006, 2009 and 2012 votings were boring because their results were obvious actually from the beginning.
Haha! Here in Norway we always complain about the balkans and eastern countries vote for each other... While we gave 7p-Denmark, 8p-Iceland, 10p-Sweden, 12p-Finland.... "But those were good songs"...
See, SVT? If you want to make the voting more open and exciting, all you need to do is alter the voting order. That's what Germany did here - they hired a mathematician to determine which voting order would keep the game open for as long as possible. And as we all know, it worked wonders, neck-and-neck right until Croatia gave 10 points to Azerbaijan. And even then, it looked like Sweden might've soared back towards the end.
I am happy for Azerbaijans victory. In the other hand,Blue got 6 points form turkey.i have never voted in my life for eurovision but i know a lot of turks voted for Blue many times.especially from fan clubs and my environment however jury votes prevented televotings.if there hadnt been jury, blue could have taken least 8 points from turkey.
I Love the commantator hes Just the funniest. I'm from Germany and our commantator is just boring and judgy :( Btw: whats up with our hoster? She just wont appreciate that almost everybody said something in german.
"Take a picture, somebody, take a picture !", I love this guy !

His name's Graham Norton btw
Love Graham's reaction to France giving them only one point:
"We built a tunnel to your country!"
Lol a great Eurovision!!

please let Germany win again and we will have this amazing show and stage again!

This was an amazing year. My favorite Eurovision in the history of the contest. Love you Germany for an amazing show. And just in general too lol.

this presenter is an arrogant brat, he talked sh** about italy as well throughout the first half of the result process. As a contestant, you think you would be entitled to a basic level of politeness...apparently not.
hahaa
Wouter Bults As a French , I took it well. No points from the UK this year , we gave them 3 points !
Spain gave us 10 points , we gave them 12 back then in this video. Nicer.
Normandine Franglish not enough... the 12 would have been nice but ya know... fuck your stupid language and country :)
ESC 2011 had the best opening, best hosts, best staging, but unfortunately the worst winner...
Germany knows how to put up a show and everything was organized just perfect , best year in my opinion excluding the winner
lenicrystalsky , now the best organisation year is 2017, set in Kyiv after Jamala's victory
Yaroslav Omelchuk I think Portugal had a better stage than Ukraine.

I think it is funny, how every single country manages to announce their voting in english, except France...
Ma Rie it’s not funny... it’s sad.
Ruby Abc why should this be sad
Ruby Abc I mean why should we expect them to speak our language ? I could still understand be French he was speaking
@@linajurgensen4698 agree . When they are the only country talking in their own language I always think : " Why can't every country do that ? "

Because French is one of the two official languages of the ESC.
I loved the voting that year, it was so unpredictable! Grahams commentary was perfect as well! ❤️
I love it how Italy went from 23th to 2nd place
Balkan countries are booed (12 points to each other) when Scandinavian ones are being applauded.
notice how many spanish people were in the stadium at 41: 45 begging for points from portugal.
the spanish singer even thanked portugal in our language, so cute.
LOL Graham when France only gave 1 point to the UK "One? We built a tunnel to your country".
Lucky year came to Azerbaijan in 2011 ! Thanks to all countries for voting Azerbaijan !! Love you all!!!
Norway:
8 points to Iceland
10 points to Sweden
12 points to Finland
All is political in the ESC

Romania somehow always ends up doing well despite sending trash songs every year. The East-block as we call it is nothing but politics.
@Kokichi_X -A- That's cuz in semi-finals the EBC makes it so that the countries that usually vote for each other split apart. They at least try to.
@Kokichi_X -A- Guess your country sucks. Kinda does tbh. But you can look at the stats or just the votings here. They always vore for each other.

"Azerbaijan would be a worthy winner, it would be a real upset if Italy took the Eurovision crown." Really classy, Graham.
And the huge cheer that Spain got when France gave them 12 points made me smile :) And the crowd chanting for Spain when Portugal voted!
One of the best years for the UK. Loved this year.
visually the best voting ever, the production of this was just amazing, also compared to this year's contest. The host is great too.
