Man, I'd love to learn how to make melodies more spread out/fuller without panning the f*** out of them (they end up sounding weird when I do that). So a tutorial on spread/binaural post-processing, etc. would be great!

Hey Jamaal, new sub here and enjoying the content. I do have a different opinion about how youâre treating those 808s with the binaural panner. Iâm just an amateur, I also work in Logic and have been a musician 30+ years. Itâs been taught to me that those low bass frequencies should be handled in mono. One reason is processing those low freqs in stereo is going to take up a lot of space and headroom, also phase issues can be induced in the lower range resulting in some issues with your low end in mix down. If Iâm going punchier and want some higher edgier harmonics, Iâll split the signal and run the high pass in stereo. In Logic the utility gain plug-in has a mono switch. All that being said music is meant to be experiential and experimental and breaking the rules is how innovation takes shape, perhaps youâre on to something. Iâm definitely taking a look at the technique later. Thanks!

The mix can be low, your just want everything to sit next to each other correctly- just bring the overall volume up in the master
