OK so then do you just give Mint condition a split whenever registering this song? Or do you risk it to get heard? I know you supposed to get the sample approved but how tf does that go?
bro just put it out with the sample we dont have enough bread to clear a sample, if the song gets big you can work out a deal with them then

That comes with practice and training your ear. I can hear songs and imagine how the final version is going to sound like. Practice practice practice. Some thing takes repetition to learn
just a quick qestion would the drums in the audio clash with the drums you create. or would channel eq do the trick ?
channel eq usually does the trick but it all depends on the sample each are different.
How do you record a sample from a turntable and get it to an audio track . To use Flex Time.. ?

When I’m slicing its cutting it 3x per click. When I delete the other markers I’m unable to right click and select slice at flex markers
Idk if Logic updated the settings but when I right click or control click on markers I don’t see “slice at flex markers or slice at transient markers”

use a different converter
most likely your converting the song into a mp3 file. Logic can't read mp3s so what you want to is ether find a mp3 to wav converter or a CZcams to wav converter. I recommend mp3 to wav it'll be easier to find.

I wanna sample an old song from the 1970s ( czcams.com/video/v9JwnnXlkpY/video.html ) but I don't wanna change the pitch. However, when I try to sample it, I can't get the sample to fit well with my drums and 808. Any tips on how to compress the sample so that it fits with trap style drums and 808's?
