This truck has most likely been back in the shop with serious fuel system issues. DEF in the fuel is extremely corrosive. If you found metallic particles in the first drain that is most likely your CP4. This truck needs entire fuel system replaced or flushed out. Cp4 is gone! Im hearing 7 to 10k at a dealership.

Where did you dispose the fuel/water mix you took out?
I don’t understand why you are cranking this truck on, knowing that there is DEF in the fuel tank. I would think the best procedure for some one who does accidentally put def in the fuel tank. Is to NOT turn on the truck, have the truck towed to a mechanic or home. Drain fuel, remove fuel tank throughly wash it out completely, dry, and reinstall and add fresh diesel.
In addition to replacing both fuel filters

What if you’ve drained it a couple times. It doesn’t have anything in it. Meaning water or anything else and the indicator just keeps coming on?
Did you let the truck sit for the water to settle at the bottom first?
Great video. Did you customer drive much with the DEF in his full take. I slipped up and put some in. The light came on about 20 minutes later. Drove on it couple hours. Is it to late to save?
He drive it for a mile and had it towed. You need to change both filters too

Woke up Friday morning saw a wet spot on passenger side of my truck what could this be and its seem like gel are some afterwards its clear it not my breaks had the truck checked we couldn't find anything what could this be I have a 08 f450
