Had a fuel leak on the day of leaving for a moose hunt. Fixed the hose and went to prime it. After about 9 times, I was like wtf. Drained the water separator and it was like honey😳
After got home from the hunt and changed the filters. I had the truck for only 6 months. Bought used at a dealer. Now change them all every fall.
Also add 3/4 cup of Power&Service additive every fuel up. White jug for winter and silver for summer

Ah, best truck on the planet, is what I told the dealer after they begged for a review on the oil change tire rotation. Back in 2016. The Ford service is the best. It has been to Ford for every service, since we got new. 55000 miles, zero oil usage. The 5.0.is a horse pulling the boat up the 1/2 mile hill. Sounds awesome. Now since we did get a new F-350, 2020, our first ever diesel. pretty sure many of you Diesel guys do this every day in & out. Just have no time for a lot of the maintenance this does require. While am still learning about this monster we recently acquired, has no doubts about the fully trained staff @ Ford to keep this truck running strong for years. Thank you for all your tips & other information you dispense to help us people in the loop on how to care for & prolong the life of our Ford trucks.

Just Asking as if you had your truck up here in Washington, and where checked, you could only have the Green tinted if you where on the State Hwys. Has to do with the Taxes payed on the types of Diesel.

Aaron and DS. I can tell you that in Sweden the color of Diesel is almost like when we have summer in Sweden, the color is almost like water, although having water in diesel is not good .. haha. lol
but during the winter months, the color is more yellow-green. although it is mostly due to the fact that the oil companies add additives to prevent paraffin coagulation due to the cold.
I have to say that I really like how well you Aaron take care of your customers.
it will be interesting to see if the oil test shows something abnormal in the engine. I hope everything is fine with it.
should be interesting to follow this.

I've only had water in one sample and it was kind of brown red. Someone told me there is an algae that can live in diesel fuel that sits for a long time. Anyway, it's always better to be safe than sorry. That's why I change all my fuel filters every 15K miles.

Man I love your videos and all of your after market fuel protecting products products, haven't quite got there long story short I've been stuck and broke down for 3 months, Then doing the best I can with with little to no funds to work with since I can't work as I can't drive but that being said I have worked my way through 13 codes in the beginning and I am down to one code because the truck still will not start. it is a crank no start, the last code I'm working with is the P0627 and I'm getting conflicting reports from everybody I talk to including the dealer about exactly where The Driver module is or the fuel sending unit and I know it's different on different years. I've learned way more than I wanted to know lol but this is a 2014 F250 super duty King Ranch 4x4 67 diesel. I feel confident that if I can get rid of this code that my truck might start, my thoughts are I'm down to replacing the module or sending it at whatever it is, the field pump relay and possibly the fuel pump diode, which of course is the cheapest of the 3 but I think all 3 is my goal but I can't figure out if I have to get into the tank to the tank since the dealer is telling me it's the fuel pump under the rail under the truck Under the driver's seat, but Every part store and dealers telling me something different including mechanics, Which is understandable because these diesels are tough. Anything you can advise me on would be oh my gosh so greatly appreciated and keep up the good work with the videos please they're very helpful. Have a fabulous day sir. The more videos I see the more I'm thinking of just replacing both fuel pumps as well but I need your help cause I have very little very late money to work with at the moment until I can get back to work. Thanks again you guys are awesome

You use 1/2 of a 20 ounce PM-22-A bottle of cetane booster for every tank? Just double checking, I have about a 34 gallon fuel tank, (although near "empty" I can't ever seem to put more than 22 or so gallons in it) the bottle says it's good for 125 gallons. Any harm in adding extra? Thanks!!

  • @freethinkingamerican80

Aren't you supposed to drain till nothing else comes out? Or just half a bottle like you said?

I thought biodiesel was pretty much the same. Just 20% vege oil. Says it's a better lubricate, more slippery and better for viscosity of moving parts....IDK, just researching as I bought a 2021 f250 and I'm going crazy over this cp4.2.....???

Most “regular” diesel is B5 anyway. I regularly use B20 with no issues. My climate is warm and dry, if that matters. There’s also a fuel called “renewable diesel”, which is chemically transformed biodiesel and works the same. Ford even blessed it for 2011 and later 6.7s

Whats your take on adding a FASS setup with upgraded filters from black market performance and H&S performance? Its hard to stake out diesel station's and when or where they get their fuel from, only takes one bad batch to run you 10k in damages if you are out of warranty.
