They caught that man who murdered those two teens by the railroad bridge. It's a huge relief he can't hurt anymore people. Josh Powell, the one whose wife Susan was missing, blew himself and his boys up in their home in front of the social worker assigned to the boys' case. Powell's dad was one creepy individual as well.
The Social Workerâs 911 call is infuriating- the operator was awful!
@@patrickduffy8881 The whole case was a gigantic s*** show. When that @#$&-wad moved out here to Washington, we were all hoping the law would catch up to him. So, when Powell pulled that explosion, everyone following the case felt kicked in the gut. Those boys never had a chance because so many dropped the ball.
Yeah the boys funeral was right down the street from us in tacoma.. it was over packed that day
â@@Maewolf I'm from Everett, and I remember how that was all anyone was talking about. I didn't know the family, but it sure felt like it hit close.
We have a too many Native American women gone missing and the cops don't look for them.
I weep every single time I hear Amber's pleas to be taken to the city on that recording. She was so smart to call that prison/jail where it would be recorded. It infuriates me that so little was done for so long that her killer can just walk, even now.
Why does color matter so much to so many? It's baffling.
aren't there rez cops that are supposed to help and take care of that.
@@kevinprzy4539 only on the rez
I acknowledge that indigenous people don't get the priority they should, but it's more than cops not caring. I think its something that needs looking into, to find out why.
I have a hard time believing cops would put their lives on the line for most of humanity, but not all.
@@jtoland2333 It is all the same reasons women go missing anywhere it is the lack of action by the police that is the issue.
I'd imagine the not knowing is the worst torture.
Youâre right. My cousin was a 23-yr-old bank VP. One morning he didnât arrive to his OK bank. His case was featured on âUnsolved Mysteriesâ more than a year later, his body was found in OR or WA, I donât remember. The hint of hope was replaced a weird sense of relief-along with profound grief. Itâs torture, not knowing.
The Susan Powell case is truly tragic and heartbreaking. And I believe Brandon Lawsons remains were found on private property early last year, not too far from where his vehicle was found. Very bizarre.
With McKeague, his father has confirmed that he would sleep in wheelie bins after drinking. Also, the dump load from that area was about 250 pounds heavier than it normally was. I would hesitate to call that unsolved.
you have the right feeling about Las Vegas. A long time police detective once told me that if a person disappears or is on the run from the law they often end up in Law Vegas
You should look into the Josh Powell case. It was big news in Washington State because Susan was from here so we heard a lot about it. That little snip-it doesn't cover the half of it. There are so many twists and turns to a horrifically sad loss of lives
Keep the ones you love very close and if they are having hard times with drugs and depression keep them closer, donât give up on them and take control. They might fight you but they need you now more than ever. A funeral is not a happy time for anyone. Letâs help others
That Susan Powell case, I audibly gasped along with you. đąđą
I think Mrballen did a thing on the Kenny Veach one. I'll put a link if I find it.
Story #2
That's why the stuff like this. I always tell my love ones like my father and my brother. I love them because you never know. That could be god forbid the last time you speak to them.
I really enjoyed this video. Very scary, sad, and interesting. I've heard of some of them but most I hadn't
The podcast "COLD" covers the Susan Powell case for their season 1. Its a tragic story. But if you are into True crime stuff its a good podcast.
The elevator girl is still such a weird story - it still doesnt make sense what exactly happened and how she ended up in the water tank on the top of the hotel. The pic from the thumbnail that wasn't in this episode at all - which was weird.
She was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and depression. She wasn't taking her meds and that is why she was acting the way she was. Netflix did a whole show about it and it makes sense if you watch it.
â@@djlp2212what's the shows name?
@@slanetroyard92 Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel.

The British older gentleman broke my heart. He was so devastated. I know all the parents are but he just seems so lonely.
My dad passed away from Cancer at 56yrs old & I have saved all the voicemail he sent me, usually him teasing me cause I'm a NY Yankees fan & my dad was a die hard Boston Red Sox fan. He died about 8mths after the Red Sox won the 2004 World Series
We still have the last voicemail from my old landlord, who was a very dear friend of ours, just hours before he was taken to a hospital, intubated, and then passed away from cancer. He said he wanted to talk to my husband about something. We never did find out what that was. We still listen to that message and smile when we hear his voice.
a fact police never want publicized: The vast, VAST majority of violent felonies are never prosecuted. Unless the perp is well known to the victim and thus by the victims friends and family finding him/her is close to impossible.
wow i never expected Libby and Abby to be on here. i know there story in great detail because they where on a true crime video here on youtube. if any one wanna see it i saw it on Coffeehouse crime, there are 2 parts to there story so its not in one video since it is a long on. part 1 what happened to them and part 2 the finding of the guy and justice for the two.
(side note) its in 2 parts because the first one was recorded before the justice was served and the guy and it would be a wile after it happed before they caught him, i dont remember how long it took. when they got him part 2 came out
If I remember correctly, Koecher may have been serving foreclosure notices to particularly difficult to serve individuals. No company has come forward to confirm that he was working for them, and the police haven't spoken about it.
This is truly sad but I think people need to help others and protect the weak, there are plenty of good people that can be mentors. When I was young it was big brothers and sisters organization to help youths stay on the right path in life. We all need to watch our for someone thatâs vulnerable.
If he owed too much and couldn't pay it back they may have knocked him off.
How can anyone take the lives of your own kids. Damn
My brother went camping in Marithon Florida 6 years ago , all that was found was his car, he was never found đ
Strange that Elisa Lam was in the thumbnail but not in the video
Okay if you think that's and my mother had has a bunch of tapes she taped conversations between her and my father and birthday parties and Christmas and everything and I still have them I still play them once in a while but my father passed away in 2013 my mother passed away in 2017 so yes it is odd
weird that the phone company couldn't trace the little girls telephone. More like unbelievable that they couldn't nail a telephone number and location
People do disappear for years though.
Some of these have been solved
Elaine Park is korean
He was probably stuffed down the garbage disposal piece by piece.
@Kabir, you should do a deep dive into the Susan Powell/Josh Powell (and his father) case. There is so much out there on it! It's just tragic!
She may have been waiting for her guy that didn't show up.
Your funniest one was, maybe a bear got him. Do you thing that a lot of people are killed and eatan by bears in the US?
Koecher wasn't gambling. He drove to the retirement community after entering Las Vegas without visiting a casino.
The phone call in the Anthonette case is considered to be a prank or fake done to mislead police. There's an update about the case in Trace Evidence podcast (and recently posted to the Trace Evidence CZcams channel) if you're interested in the case. The mother certainly had something to do with her disappearance.
Couldn't they track that phone call? đ
It doesn't necessarily means she was using a house phone. That's why they can track the call
The kid bothered me
