What an amazing man this is. At age 60 he became the worlds greatest adventurer. So much respect for James Cameron. What an achievement!
I like money
Who is holding the camera at the bottom of the sea?
@@user-fb6fv3pk5s the cameraman
@@melonheadgaming4254 That's not an answer idiot. Who is holding the camera at the bottom of the 11 km? The sea floor is only 11 kilometres from the surface (compared to the distances on land), but full of sharks, other creatures, dark water and pressure.
@@user-fb6fv3pk5s a cat
Titan tragedy lead me here.. 😭😭😭
His name is James, James Cameron
The bravest pioneer
No budget too steep, no sea too deep
Who's that?
It's him, James Cameron
James, James Cameron explorer of the sea
With a dying thirst to be the first
Could it be? Yeah that's him!
James Cameron
SOUTHARD FAR DA WIN!
He raised the bar for us all!
James Cameron doesn't do what James Cameron does for James Cameron,
James Cameron does what James Cameron does because he is....James Cameron.
"With a dying thirst to be the third" is the correct line!
James Cameron raising the bar
Indeed
11Km!!! James Cameron is a pionner and a living legend
don walsh and jacques piccard already reached it in 1960 and still holding the record and don walsh is still alive so who is the living legend?
WOAH THIS IS SO AMAZING
he will show us these+his spectacular imaginations about deep ocean life in Avatar 2.
Realy interesting and fascinating 😍
We back
His name will be remembered as Pioneer of the Marianna
I just cannot believed he actually did it.
Legend. In every aspect!
It looks very interesting, but the trailer is so dramatic made like a real drama movie. o.o
This. It's pathetic, it's a documentary. Why do you need the dramatic shit and "academy award winner cameron"
He finds the creature from Abyss movie :-P
Because it's National Geographic ! They can't make a normal documentary, they need to keep it attractive, with suspense, drama, "he could die, he could be crush by..., blablabla" otherwise viewers will change channel and didn't see the ad !!
just imagine that you in the deepest sea. its a thousand possible ways to die.
James Cameron took a solo dive because nobody was courageous enough to go with him.
I love James cameron
Still waiting for a Cinnamon Challenge 3D.
These sort of endeavours akin to, Everest and the Moon, are unfamiliar to those younger than Gen X.
Awesome to see JC produce this genre of adventure again.
US imagination and dollars combined with Aussie ingenuity!
Frqck Australia we thought of it first
'Frqck' ?
You're the pride of the education system.
calmfocustruth it was a typo
but the way everyone here wants to stop foreign aid and put more money in schools instead of teaching kids themselves makes me wonder how educated we are in global economics...
Global economics and foreign aid now?
1 post ago it was Fuck Australia, a country with integral economic and defence/Intel treaties and history with the USA.
My guess is you're about 15yo, and with little comprehension of the world around you apart from games and cartoons.
Finish school (if its possible for you) and learn more about life before mouthing off on shit you no idea about.
his name is James cameron the greatest pioneer no budget too steep no sea too deep whats that? its him James cameron
I'm sorta interested in this, but I only wanna watch it in 3D.
He is the legend of English movies
Wow now im watching south park and.... noooo they are the best
im learning about james cameron at school
only James Cameron sir can do that .
Jame cameron is my hero
anyone come from buzzfeedblue?
I did
Nova no
Is this movie released?
*deepest point discovered
Don Walsh and Jacques Picard dived deeper 50 years ago without this "advanced tech"
He said that he will shoot some scenes in avatar 2 movie in that trench
You're legendary director in the world and u r genius no one can beat you
I didn't know Hollywood was down there...
That's when subnautica was created
I sadly that many commentators forgave that in 1960 , when Cameron was 6 (six) , two men , Walsh and Piccard , reached , aboard the bathyscaphe Trieste ( with no touchscreens , no computer control , no digital cameras; but with huge balls), the bottom of Mariana Trench. He's surely brave , but not such a legend.
the risk part is probably like 5 mins of the film and that's it.
What happened?
Someone can explain me how it's possible to have so many camera outside ?!?!
Did he really go alone ?
He also manage all the camera (positioning/recording/ect...) outside ?
For exemple, at 2:28, he suppose to land at the bottom, why we have a camera there already?
I read about the cameras they are capable of 3d so they are capable of that type of image and yes he went alone , it can only fit one person hes an official explorer and researcher for National Geographic and expert these days. He went down with those cameras to capture footage and to collect samples.
living legend right here
Wouldn't the cameras break because of pressure
Doctor Toothpaste thats a great question and how does he get that secod camera view from the outside when he hits the bottom??
Maybe the cameras are super advanced, the Olympus tough can withstand 100 ft. Deepsea challengers cameras must have built in pressure hulls
1:38 well know we know what happened to Ocean Gates crew and why the coast guard captain was so cryptic about returning those meatclouds. There is just nothing left except maybe a arm or leg or half a torso floating around
No, no maybe's, there is literally nothing left of them. No arms, no legs, it all went. There's no "leftovers", that's not how it works.
WHAT?
Why did he make this a love story with him and the plot is that his sub almost screw up and he has to get out of it? Shouldn't it focus on the cool things in the deep? I guess if you don't see as much as you hoped then you've got to have some kinda plot.
the ship
Reminds me of southpark lol
where my money james camron....making me lure out a giant megladon shark....from the titanic wreck...so you can steal the radioactive material at the bottom of sea
its 8850 meters
Lucky him, theres no shark..

arie de niet Stolen comment...
still not the world record ,
Owner Unknown Really?
Yup. World record was set in 1960
Yeah , that was in the 60s ... hapened 50 years ago and holds the record , while today with realllll high technology , there should be a new record , and in the 60s they keept going dowm intil the window cracked , so they decided to go up and not risk
James Cameron proved that Canadians have the biggest balls
valew Brother
It's all about money
sorry cameron but u didnt quite break the record set in 1960
He made it alone
@@edu_destroyer2011 So? He wasn't the first.
I'm the King of world--James Cameron
he should better spend his time to make avatar 2
He well do 4 avatar movies

yes i know, can't wait for it!
Lol pioneer in what? He didn't even beat a 50 or 60 year old record...
the earth is where I draw my strength.,,not no fake ass dish/sun....or valcano top with a dish over it...you put reflecters over the valcano giving off the image of a "giant" gas ball floating in space
Worst thing ive ever waster money on. So much hollywood and just like 15-20 mind are actually about the dive to that trench. Was really dissapointed
