This speeded up process shows my complete work flow, from how I take the manufacturer’s information into my work to ensure everything fits together, to build to the finished product.
By doing it this way, I avoid the wasted hours on site and on the phone, sorting out the inevitable coordination issues that always seem to arise on our home construction projects.
I’ve chosen IKEA for this example and a small kitchen so you can get your head around it, but it’s the same steps regardless of size and manufacturer.
If you follow these steps, you’ll have everything to consider before you make that commitment for your home projects.

I use an older version of SketchUp. I’ve made a few videos on how I use the software which hopefully will help you. Just have a look in the play lists. Thanks for the comment
