Love when the fuse actually does its job
I always wonder how many cards are thrown out due to blown fuses.
@@mikeycrackson I think the opp is engineered so reasonable, so that it will eventually blow the fuse over time if you don't have a real good psu.
You have to consider that people run the cards 10 to 20% over the power limit all day and opp is most likely around +30%. One spike on a white label psu and the fuse is gone.
This is true. A lot of times and different electronics, they don't.
@@mikeycrackson There are actually alot of reasons that it can happen and sometimes its not even the graphics card breaking sometimes a bad motherboard , PSU etc etc can cause something to blow cheap no name power supplies can cause it
this repair was easy and quick, well done
For some reason I can feel your happiness when you repair an electronic device, so I also smiled when I repair something and go back to work again, I also work repairing electronic devices. Many greetings 🤗
Its so great to see you working Alex. Not only the repairs, but, your work itself. Your techniques, your abilities, your knowledge. Congratulations!
Love it when the customer has an idea of what’s wrong. Great work superman👍
The excitement after getting the job done is satisfying...keep it up!
Nice fix. Its good to have a fuse on board. It saves the life of the board and even the complete videocard. Its very good to have such a good description from the costumer.
Thank you for that video
Thanks for the video. And best luck to you during the cleaning device queue.
I can feel how much you get pleased when something is fixed
Wonderful, another great video to add to the collection. It's great to have a bit of luck, especially at home time.
Nice! I wish all the video cards you have to repair to be fixable. I can feel through your smile not only your satisfaction but also the relief and the happiness of the customer.
customer is super great in diagnosing the problem with limited knowledge. Good that he didn't do self repair and sent it to a professional for fixing.
Yeah thats also me, not to brag but im good at fixing things but when i dont or no idea i will sent to professionals than making a mess
The smile when he look at the screen and it shows something. He always do it. Nice job.
this fix is done so quick;waiting for more harder one;thanks alot
Great & quick repair. Thanks for the quality content, Alex!
Chout out to the card owner for his analysis and patience to not fix it by himself although he was correct.
Most ppl intent to think it's easy as it look, this particular one it's not super hard too but it's not wise to learn on on your needed device.
“I am not Superman”. I only wear a Superman tee shirt! Great work as always.

That doesn't happen very often ,just a popped fuse and no short ?
Also good that the customer learned something from your videos and identified the potential issue and sent for repair rather than attempt themselves 👍🏻

Love watch your videos and learn something new
Nice work!
Nice one to end the day. Did you get through the pile of repairs for the day?
When your PC gets flooded, its usually better to rinse the whole PC with distilled water to remove contaminants (from the flood water) that could cause shorts or eventual corrosions. I personally use dishwashing liquid soap and a soft toothbrush for really dirty ones and to get gunk away from the chip pins. Then dry it for as long as possible beside the hot side of a refrigerator, possibly a week or so. I've seen some people pull 3 days but you just gotta be sure.
Easiest repair I have seen to date bet you wish all of them were this easy lol.
After fixing the cards? Do you apply new thermal paste or do you use the existing?
If you apply new one, which one do you use?
hello my friend from Italy, thank you for you videos im very interested especially the video card rapair keep up and go forward
Alex = The Superman of electronics repair ! ! ! Fred
Nice end of day repair 😀👍
Well done!
Wonderful, another great video
Nice job as always
Im amazed how you organized each cards parts (heatsinks screws etc), like if they are same gtx series then different customers would that be problematic, may i ask how are you able to organized each parts for each cistomer that have the same video card😅
Just curious, what is the difference between using continuity mode or diode mode to test for a short?
Good one!
I learn a lot from you sir....you are God sent. #lovenorthridgefix
I think this one supposed to be easy for Alex, but the way he smiled when it is fixed he seemed very happy. I guess it's because he can go home 🤣
Alex don’t be discouraged you might not be Superman but you will overcome. Keep up the smiles they are motivation for us all👍🌻
job is done.... great video
great video. you do a good job every day.
amazing experiment
Good and quick repair
nice work!
Straight forward job
Yes, but why did the fuse blow? I’m not sure I agree on this diagnosis that it is a “fuse issue”. I hope it works out in the long run.
Hello, You are doing a great job, I am just wondering where have you found the large blue matt for your workbench?
I believe it's a heat resistant ESD mat.
@@lawrencemanning I believe too, but I don't know where to find like this large size.
If all repairs were like this ...
Wonderful very nice 👌 👍 😀
Anybody know how to deal with an Xbox One S stuck in 640x480p on auto detect? I replaced the retimer chip twice, the hdmi port, HDD, and even the filters and of course tried different cables and TVs/monitors and still nothing, could it maybe be the booster chip? Ugh..
Greetings from Brazil! 🔥
