- I'm visiting my home state of NJ from Sweden, and I wanted to show you what a real American diner is like! I wish there were diners like this in Sweden, but I have never been able to find one.
Did you know that NJ is known for its diners? You can find anything and everything at diners, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, appetizers, milkshakes, etc!
Have you ever been to a diner?

Your dad is really nice and calm :)
Your dad seems to be a freaking champion! cheers!
Where I live in California we mainly have chain restaurants. I’m from Texas and when I go back to visit we only eat at diners. The best food ever!
Enjoy your family!
Actually the surroundings on your trip to the diner looks a lot like the Swedish countryside.
Now if there’s one thing I really envying you is the real American diners. It would probably not be good for my health but damn it looks good
I love Jersey's hoagies. I worked in Sea Isle 5 years ago. What a lovely place it is the southern Jersey.
In Sweden you can go to a hotel and eat their breakfast buffet at that price.
I grew up in Westfield, New Jersey
What's your parents thoughts about your move to Sweden ?
I have been to a classic American diner for the first time in my life
😍😍😍
When I saw the EZ Pass, a whole lot of memories of me and my friends driving to NY from New Jersey haha.
American diners looks great:)
Men deras carrot cake såg väldigt god ut! Otroligt stort utbud av tårtor. Go pappa du har :) Och gå till Lucky Diner när du kommer hem.
Pancakes, bacon, eggs and hash browns on one plate is soooo weird 😂
There's something about diner coffee. It may not be the best you've ever had but you're super-high on caffeine for hours!
It sure looks like they have some really good cakes. But poor chef who has to learn all those plates that was on that menu. The size of those portions! It was enough for two!
Que hermosa mujer ! Es como ver una película .
I have to ask you Kim, when are you going to upload a video with the Surströmming?
I want to try every cake there😍
And food ofc too
Waow... this I can call it brunch & dinner... 👌😊
"First to write First".. Just kidding, thanks for sharing your life with us. 😃
New Jersey devil 😈 🔥. I would visit that scary forrest right away, i love that mysterious, paranormal stuff 😀.
But that breakfast though, wow!!! 😲 looks really good 👍
Nice dad 😀 nice family you have 😀
A great diner is one that makes exceptionally tasty food even though most diners have very similar menus. I will tell you that most diners stink in NJ. I have my favorites and luckily some are close enough. Some have been there since me and have always stunk.
That egg and bacon looks very tasty
Would love to open a diner like that here in Sweden that has GOOD food! But where? And with who?
Oh, such a nice video, but I got a craving for fried eggs and bacon, which are so good. Your father seems like a very good person.
Everything looks good but the
Size of portions! 🤪
Its good with big meals.. Because you can bring The left overs home, and eat The next Day..
That's like swedish prices isn't it?
♥️
Såååå vacker!
Nearly 40 USD for breakfast? That's insane 🤣
443.32 Sek, according to today's rates, that is indeed insane 😮
Haha, the instant fear that someone would shoot you down when paragliding.
I would go steak and egg (possibly hashbrowns). For sure no dessert.
Damn, 500:- (kroner)?
I'm confused by your dads car. He's driving and you're sitting on his left side? Or are you driving but he like to have his hands a bit forward? Does it have three front seats and the driving position in the middle? 🙃🙂😕
That threw me off as well!!
Hahaha! I was using my front camera on my iPhone to film so everything is reversed. It’s a normal car 😁
Give me the sugar,sugar! :)
No Kebab pizza ?
You would be looked at as insane if you wanted to order a kebab pizza in the US.
Way better then here.
I must say, Sweden and north USA are almoast swedish
Why did you mirror the image in the first car-clip? It looks like your Father is driving an English car with the steering wheel on the wrong side 😃
new jersy?
In my world, huge dinner - huge menu (2 pages or more) is equal to bad food.
As you can't prepare fresh food with such diversity, you're sure to eat frozen items. In my world ...
Now that is a diner!
We have a "Diner" in the city where i live, where i worked for 1 summer...and i am saying "Diner" becuse the owners for real belive that the food they serve is authenitc american diner food...and it is a joke, i am not lying here....the owners are delucional, and dont care about the guests at all...
If you want to know experience a bad diner and resturant in Sweden when you get back(dont know why anyone wants to go to this place to be honest) Its Called "Old mikes Diner" and is next to the E4 road at the Ljungby exit.
They also have one next to the Örkelljunga Exit that is smaller, but just as bad.
The one in Ljungby opened first and i am suprised it survived the pandamic when much better resturants had to close...
Just look up the rewievs for this place and you will se what i mean...
The reason i Quit was that the owners of this place could not pay out the salary one month so we got companseted by eating for free for 2 months...never got that months salary and i reported them to the union and guess what...the union gave them a slap on the wrist and said that the compensasion was fair...
I am so glad i have a much better job at a much better company now...
