In this video we will show you how to test valvetronic motor on BMW e91, e90, e92, e93 and find out if your valvetronic motor is good or bad. It takes only a few minutes to test valvetronic motor on BMW 3 series and you will know if the valvetronic motor is working or not. We demonstrated how to test valvetronic motor on 2006 BMW 325i but it should be helpful on multiple models (location may be different for other engines).

Suggest measuring for resistance to ground before its removed from engine and before replacing,verify that the new motor operates in the same direction as the original.Mine was reversed.

Can I test valvetronics motor on directly or do I have to take it off and how do I test to see if I'm getting voltage to it

also resistance between any of the terminals and chassis of the motor should be infinite. If you read something like a few kOhm or short circuit, then it's bad.

hello...im tried direct same you testing servomotor...its can work...but if i try place in part....then...tried to reset its no working...the power supply have...but there motor will not working...so there problem i have....,2 relay im change the new on...but its still not working

Very funny test, how do you know if it’s fast enough under load?? This is not a test, means only it’s working on the bench. Conditions inside the motor are very very different…

It resets when you put key in ignition, turn the car on without the engine, wait 30 secs. Turn car off then back on. Cheers

MY Mechanic changed this still it shows engine Check symbol and when it goes very slow and need to stop and start. Let the emgine heat

I need your help...I watched most of your videos on my 2006 BMW 325i for no crank no start ..well I have tried everything just about in your videos. I got a code POA 11. S DC converter open/ circuit. I can't seem to find anything on this part. Would love some advice cuz my car still won't crank or start.
