Does this works for N55 (3rd gen valvetronic = position sensor is integrated in electric motor) engine??
What also works is to cycle ignition to position 2 let it sit for 5 minutes then turn on. worked for me.

I reset mine by turning the ignition on, NOT STARTING THE CAR! THEN PRESS THE ACCELERATOR PETAL UP AND DOWN 10 TIMES, THEN THE VALVETRONIC RESETS ITSELF, YOU CAN ACTUALLY HEAR IT RESET. HOPE THIS HELPS.

Why is BMW telling me that there's no way to recalibrate these things?
Look up online how to get ISTA P on ur computer. Thats what I do. It's free and about 300gb

@@frozensunsetwhere was the loose wire lol trying to diagnose my “drivetrain malfunction” but I can’t seem to figure out exactly what it is. I reset my valvetronic system with the pedal but idk how to recalibrate it lol
