Some of those buffs are totally justified (more drift on his up B, and grab range). A lot of the others are just memes.

@@albatros4003as a former mac main, i can safely say thar ko punch does not help recover, because of so much endlag in air. its only really usful in the air in really niche situations
@@Squiferz Tbf, Little Mac successfully recovering is a really nieche situation.
@@albatros4003 K.O punch would be a genuinely broken mechanic if it could only be removed by grabbing, like Incineroar's revenge.
But instead, it can be removed by any hit. Any stray, any projectile, any neutral interaction and it's gone. And it takes nearly an entire stock to get it back.
@@CommentPositionInformer I thought that it goes away after a certain time has passed and you get launched, at least that's my experience with it. Pretty sure it doesn't just go away with any projectile

Of all the buffs, I'm surprised and miffed that they didn't make it so Mac's aerial haymaker resets after you're hit. That's the only main thing I want for Mac.

Honestly, a little too crazy but Mac should really get some of those buffs. Like keeping the underwhelming hitboxes on the aerials already makes them kinda bad, but giving them more hitstun allows for those seeks combos 👌. Means less camping from the opponent on the ground, sounds all great to me. The grab buffs are nice too

all in all, this could really be in the realms of possibility, like the non-janky hit boxes and knock back directions, more aerial drift on the up-b. these are things that could make him go from botnet tier to mid or even higher.
