My first intro to Palo Alto, a bit more complex to configure than Fortigates, none the less very interesting. The GUI is not as flashy either but does a very good work.

Hi Sir one query please assist me here.
Actually my boss wants email notifications for alerts triggered on palo alto n/w like port interface down, threat triggered, suspicious malicious activity, etc.
How should I configure it in palo alto and enable it for him.
    Regards,
    Pritish

Nice video! The PC had two route entries for the .71 network with different gateways each. I guess Windows doesn't do equal cost load balancing?

Could you please explain why do you prefer using a subinterface on port 1/1, one for inside and one for outside? 1 physical interface can be used for 1 physical connection, how can you connect LAN and outside connection on the same port?

I was thinking the same thing... this is a bit confusing.
Also the issue with the Policy Rule is not working on my lab either, but he added a route to the pc, why?

I really really do not expect this from INE to be honest.
You are unable to ping through from PC to CR, so instead of checking the logs immediately you are saying something is blocking and just trying to clear sessions and all.
Would you really clear sessions when such issue occurs in production?
Would you not rather quickly look at the logs and see what is happening rather then doing hit and trial.

Wow... Just saw this and its terrible. Sure, the trainer knows his stuff but the way he is going about teaching the material is terrible. I have been in IT about 30 years and jumping in deep talking about all kinds of variables ISN'T the way you teach...
