  • Have you ever wondered HOW the Palo Alto Networks NGFW processes traffic flowing through the dataplane? Have you ever needed to troubleshoot a routing or NAT problem? Have you wondered why certain traffic isn't making it through the firewall and there isn't a log indicating why? This episode will help explain what exactly the firewall is doing with packets as they flow through session setup and inspection!

Guys, That was wonderfully made presentation and very informative. I was looking for a refresher training for troubleshooting and there is no better to palce to look for other than the official PAN channel. It made even more interesting to watch as Bangalore is where I live and Chennai is where I worked for palo alto as TAC engineer. Keep up the good work.. Thank you.

    Hey .. Welcome to India.
Its superb session on troubleshooting... You people are awesome.
    Thanks for this video.
Palo is really great firewall as on date.. and you people making it too easy to understand.
The only issue i am struggling in palo at troubleshooting that is when it comes to CPU or Memory related issue. Most of the times killing a process also not works. If possible , Can you guys make a session on CPU and Memory issue related troubleshooting ?
    Thank you once again !!

On a 5250, this command (less mp-log pan_packet_diag.log ) doesn´t display the processing stages, please advise, tx

a 3k and above needs the command "less dp-log pan_packet_diag.log*", an 800 and below or vm-series needs the command "less mp-log pan_packet_diag.log*"

I enjoyed the session however one thing I want to say that you may not like it. While the presenter was fantasizing the India and Banglore, people who are getting laid off in the US nowadays abusing Indians for taking their jobs.
