3 minutes « seulement » et pourtant c’est beaucoup... car en écoutant cette interprétation,cette œuvre,un sentiment de sérénité t’envahît, car il ne s’est pas passé 15 secondes que déjà BB nous emmène dans son monde ...un monde d’une tendresse infinie.

Ja, klar, ich war in Husum dabei, leider nur in dem Nebenraum ohne direkten Blick auf Dich und den Flügel... wie auch zuvor dieses Jahr schon in meinem Heimatort Hannover und in der kleinen Kirche in Wolfenbüttel (der Herr mit dem Tintenschreiber). Ich bin ein großer Bach-Fan seit rund 35 Jahren und ich habe soo viele Interpreten gehört, Dein Spiel aber steht für mich an der Spitze derzeit. Kürzlich habe ich Víkingur Ólafsson live erlebt - sicher ein großartiger Pianist und Virtuose, aber ich kehre immer wieder zu Deinen Aufnahmen zurück. Yvonne Lefébure (1898-1986) had already transcribed this piece for the piano at the time ... I am very grateful to Beatrice for bringing it back into our consciousness. It is such a special piece of music. Thank you very much 🥰🤗!

@@BeatriceBerrut Mme. Lefébure hat dieses Stück nicht nur transkribiert, sondern auch eingespielt und veröffentlicht - siehe "Yvonne Lefébure joue J.-S. Bach" (Solstice SOCD65, 1984) und spätere Veröffentlichungen. Diese Musik bedeutet mir sehr viel.

Liebe Beatrice Berrut, mit einfühlsamer Klaviermusik verwöhnen sie uns immer wieder. Nun mit neuem Outfit und einer neuen Frisur, die ihnen übrigens sehr gut steht, bieten sie auch noch einen Augenschmaus. Doch im Mittelpunkt steht natürlich ihre Interpretation dieser wunderbaren Kompositionen.

I am still doubtful to credit either Bach or Vivaldi for this piece. It doesn't sound to me neither to one nor to the other. Who is the composer?
Vivaldi wrote this for two violins and orchestra, and Bach transcribed it for organ, embedding it as a slow movement in his d-minor concerto. Best wishes! Beatrice

Lovely....a nice balance, as it were, to the Liszt you just posted....Bach was every bit the Romantic Liszt was, no?
The music is from Vivaldi, and was then transcribed by Bach. It is totally romantic indeed, as Vivaldi, with his warm Italian blood, totally was :)
@@BeatriceBerrut now i know how to read those titles! but Bach does have incredibly tender moments, like the Capriccio for his dear departed brother.....romantic with a small r....i guess i am confusing tenderness and melody for the passion and sturm und drung of the Romantics...
