Thank you so much for directly speaking to the Textile Design community. This is so wonderful and totally appreciated. You have a wealth of valuable information to offer. And you are truly a treasure in the fashion and textile community. This is so appreciated!
Great tips ..thanks
So happy I found this video. It is very helpful to understand better the industry. I also think that the best option is 5, to be indepenend freelancer as it also make you feel enterpreneur and I think it is more enriching and empowering experience, but I think before this it is good to gain experience with print studios to learn and gain experience.
I love to Karina's story, so inspiring!

Hello mam i want to ask u that i draw textile design only on page not digitally. I want to sell it or i want a job. So how can it possible? Can u tell me what should i di?
I don't see a book. Just a video. I signed up for the waiting list. But I was really hoping that there would also be a book. I see that this video is over a year old but still.
I'm curious whether textile designers ever design woven color patterns or jacquards or what have you. Is it really only prints?
You can totally design those too!! Print is most common but any textile of course 🥰
I’m a textile designer and I’ve designed embellishment layouts for beading, embroidery and sequins, jacquards as well as prints. It’s such a fun job but it is very competitive.
@@carolynquan2764 @Sew Heidi: I'm so glad to hear that. I'm mostly interested in fiber blends and complex technical weaves, so I thought I had to go into textile science. This is wonderful!
Hi I am a professional carpet designer and master of carpet design, I feel there is a good opportunity for work with you,
This should be titled. Why you should not become a textile designer 😀
Why?
Ma'am can I have your Instagram account link or any contact?
