In this video I take my Kawasaki Vulcan 650 on the first ride of the spring 2023 season and I talk about where I have been the last year and a half. You will hear the exhaust sound of the CS Racing exhaust on my 2017 Kawasaki Vulcan 650. I plan on making many more videos this summer including installing a few mods like the flasher relay, mini windscreen, and more and also doing a video showing all my riding gear and oil change for the Vulcan 650. Congrats! Glad to see you're back out there on the Vulcan S. I think I told you a while back I sold mine and picked up a Yamaha Bolt. Wasn't a huge fan, so I sold that and got an Indian Scout. That was a great bike but I had issues with the ABS and the closest Indian dealer was over an hour away from me. SO... I sold that and now I'm back on a Vulcan S lol.
Thanks man! Wow quite the journey of going through a few bikes and coming full circle back to the Vulcan! I almost bought a Bolt before getting my Vulcan too. What did you not like about the Bolt? The only reason I almost got it was for the vtwin engine..love that exhaust sound. Definitely want a Harley in the garage one day.

Are we to expect you to resume your Fountain Pen journey too ? I’ve bought a countless number of Fountain pens in the last couple of years, Pocket Fountain pens being the most..
thanks for the recommendations I will check them out! Fountain pen journey is always going on in the background haha but not sure if I will do more videos on them..this summer will focus on the motorcycles and maybe do some pen videos in the winter

I've had a rough time with my vulcan. Someone stole it off my driveway 5 weeks ago. Cops found it, but nonrepairable, so I had to claim on my insurance. But, I bought another, and it's getting delivered on Friday. Having a tracker put on this time, so I get alerted on my phone if it moves.
@@theinformant6704 ahh sorry to hear that. You must have been devastated when it got stolen I know how that feels. good luck on getting the new Vulcan and yea tracker sounds like a good idea maybe air tag will work. Ride safe my friend!

@@Kamdorian I got a Vulcan S too, so I am always happy when people discover the bike. Its like a sports bike that wants to be a cruiser. lol
@@davidhardy4419 nice have you done any mods to it? That's the reason I got one, love the acceleration of the engine and comfort of the cruiser position. The only thing missing imo is a deeper exhaust sound that the vtwin engines have but that's not possible with this engine. I had a Honda shadow spirit with the vtwin and man that exhaust was the best..one day I'll have a Harley with that exhaust sound I am missing. Ride safe!

@@Kamdorian I don't have a Vulcan 650 yet. But I am thinking about getting one as a first bike. Torn between this and a Bolt. If I get the Vulcan I'll definitely look at this exhaust!
@@MOTOJendays yea I was debating between this and the bolt too but then I saw the Vulcan is faster and I like the gauge cluster on the Vulcan better. The Vulcan is also little bit lighter compared to bolt. BUT big win of the bolt is that v twin engine and exhaust sound, I want a vtwin Harley one day because I miss that exhaust sound lol
