Saturday morning, I check my e-mail, a new Auto Fanatic video.
Now I know what I’ll be doing today. I’m locked down in north Jersey.
You’re correct, dark paint looks best when properly prepared. Shelby really looks great.
I’ll try the AF tire dressing. Right now I’m very happy using 007 on tires; the result is a long lasting, clean, dark matte finish. Thanks.

I have always said the same thing; waxing and polishing my (GT350R) car is literally therapy. I completely understand it Phil. I also agree the lines and the shape of the car is very satisfying when polishing along the door contours, the hood, and the rear fenders near the rear and side windows.

I’ve tried a bunch of waxes and sealants including collinite 915 & 845, Wolfgang sealant, powerlock, all the SiO2 sprays, Adams, Meguiars, and the list goes on. My favorite non-ceramic product is Polish Angel Master Sealant topped with their Rapidwaxx. Blows everything out of the water in terms of application and removal ease. Lasts long, and the gloss/depth is the same as any wax. I sold and threw out all my other waxes and sealants after using this combo (you can even use master sealant alone).

Awesome job on the correction! I heard you mention you already have cquartz uk on it already. I have the same setup on my RAV4. I talked to Corey about this from carpro and you really don’t want regular wax or sealant on top of a coating. They make “Gliss” now to put on top of Cquartz for extra depth and shine. I love the Wolfgang liquid sealant which is like Jescar power lock. I also dropped 2 hondo on Wolfgang concours carnuba. I heard the NY accent right away man, I’m from Jersey. Not knocking you at all about wax over coating. Just wanted to throw that out there. Griots are the bees knees. You literally have the same set up I have from the megs pads to the PFM towels. You need to try microfiber madness cloudbuster, they make the best glass towels I’ve ever used in my life. I gotta upload my 18 hour day of paint correction now after watching this video 😎 You rock man...keep it up!

Great video as always, your attitude and positive outlook is infectious (ignore the pun; in a good way obviously, despite the BS that’s going on). I’m with you, the news now makes me angry, I’m sure a therapist could tell me how that’s not healthy, but we all know it’s because many of us that want life to be the way it was and are furious politicians have allowed this to progress this way, since they’re supposed to work for us, not the other way around. Enough on that, i recently took advantage of Ford’s 0% financing deals and purchased a GT that while not a GT350, still is a blast to drive. I wanted a GT350, but none of the deals or rebates applied to them. Therefore, I’m taking a mid-level GT and modifying it with every high performance part available, including eventually putting a Roush supercharger on it. I have to admit, as much as I wanted the GT350 for the collector value, and investment, the base Coyote motor is insanely good now, it is the perfect base power plant for a supercharger and still makes a fantastic engine exhaust note, especially with an H-Pipe, almost sounds like a GT350. Thanks for your channel, ironically I bought a Alfa Romeo Quad because of you 2 years ago, and watched most of your videos and have enjoyed every second, your advice and choice in cars is superb. After watching your GT350 videos for some time now, I had to buy a Mustang after selling the Alfa, and it’s put a smile on my face every day, which has helped during these weird times, and I’m with you, it’s helped me calm down and ignore all the crap I now seem not to be able to control. Can’t wait to see your videos on the C8 Corvette, id also like own one of those in the future....cheers my friend, keep being & doing you, and putting out this great content. Being a car guy is a unique club most women and some men will never understand, and i believe it’s an fantastic American pastime that still makes me optimistic we can get through this, and things will be “normal” again, & we will be great again. Keep your head up, hope I get a chance to meet you some day, and this is all like a bad dream.

I’ve been lucky enough to life in this crazy era where the technology has taken hold of the detailing industry and everything is sprayable and easy. But applying the wax by hand was really satisfying and gave me a nice therapy session. I’m finally getting what guys mean when they say there’s nothing like a good paste wax. Yes 915 for sure the Soft99 is very durable but the process sucks i do not suggest it unless your using it on a car you do not take good care of and keep outside and in harsh winter months. I use the 915 about 4-6 times a year because I enjoy doing it and use my 007 Ceramic as a topper in between.

I just bought a can of the 915, but dont have any of your 007 product to lightly mist onto the paint to help remove the wax haze, what other product would you recommend I use to mist onto the 915 to remove it?
What about a light mist of P&S beadmaker??

I also use the compressed air method like you showed but you came up somewhat short of what is really needed. Those little bursts of air were way to little. It should take ten or more minutes to blow off a car. Then you need to use a fresh swiffer to remove the rest of the fine dust the air did not get. Go lightly with the swiffer. Trust me on this. In the early morning when the sun comes thru my garage windows, you can see the layer of dust on the car and no amount of blowing with air gets it all off. Anyway, I like your channel. Keep it up.

I’ve become a huge Collinite fan since I started to watch your videos. Collinite has given the paint on my 2 year old car excellent protection, I’ve used it since the car was new. Nothing seems to stick to the paint that does any harm, the dirt just washes right off. Even when I run the car on busy highways full of road salt, a simple contact wash with your snow foam takes all that salt and road grime off. As an old school car owner I prefer to wash and hand wax my car to survey the cars paint, but lately I’m seeing new car owners opting for expel vinyl wrap to protect the cars paint. Do you really think it’s worth the expense to wrap a car in vinyl?

hello, i have been watching your videos now for about a year and i wasn't even subscribed? yeah i don't know either but i am absolutely in love with your kona blue gt350r. if you end up getting a heritage edition gt350r and are looking to sell your current kona blue one then i would be highly interested in it. i'm currently serving in the us army and i am saving up a lot of money to buy a gt350r and hopefully keep it for the rest of my life. i do plan to do track things with it too for whenever i have time but as you now know, me being in the army you only get free time on the weekends a lot of the time. also another thing about your particular car is that the color is very special to me in the fact that my grandpa, which i worked on cars with and did various customizations to cars with, was a mustang fanatic and had lots of them. the last one he bought however back in 2012 i believe? was a kona blue boss 302 that i actually went with him to buy shortly before he died of cancer. unfortunately we had to sell almost every car in his collection to get the money for his hospital bills and funeral costs. ever since then i've been looking for a car to match that last one he had and this would be the perfect car for it. i will keep great care of it and even put my grandpas picture in the car somewhere just for an extra sentimental value. let me know if you ever are looking to sell it because having a car just like this would be so special to me. thank you so much, and thank you for all you do on this channel!
