- I have always been intrigued with 3 piece wheels, so for the Nissan Gloria project car I decided to build a set and show the process. The 240sx, 300zx, and Integra project cars are all on a weird limbo right now due to parts and weather, but there is still plenty to do on the Nissan Gloria! I decided to refresh the MK4 Supra body for my RC drift car, a different, but satisfying operation.

When applying primer, just mask does it, you sand the primer anyway!
@@PrizzaMike even wearing a respirator like that does not protect you from all of the chemicals and isocyanates in paint. To have proper protection you need a fresh air supply hood with an air line running into it. We use these at my college where I am learning to paint cars.

Side quest! Do a scooter, or any little motorcycle. Thats probably the best side quest for a car guy. It costs nothing compared to cars, and satisfaction is so big. Anyway. Good job. And thanks for your videos.

I can understand the feeling of fulfillment and joy of restoring something like an RC car. I use to buy and try to restore old video game consoles (like getting a new shell for an old GameBoy Color, etc). There's a sense of productivity and satisfaction.
That's some good advice you have at the end of the video. We only do the grind so we can afford to enjoy our free time.☺

Enjoying your content. I kind of stumbled into your channel looking at rebuilds and wondering if it's a hobby I should get into, but what struck me is that whenever anything goes wrong you never get mad. Most of the time, if someone blew a tire and bent their wheel well, they would end up dropping some words, but you're just like "Ehhhh, it's fine". So chill, and that's the right attitude to have. It makes me want to get myself in gear and start wrenching something

New to the channel and been going back on some older videos. I recall a picture of car spotters posted of ur crashed 180 on the hwy, a while back. As someone who is probably 2x ur age Mike let me just tell you that ur content hit home in some ways when I was in my 20s and before I had kids. My 1st born is getting his permit this year and I bought him a car 2yrs ago that is waiting for some attention. Your videos are on point 👉 and inspiring for people of all ages as long as peeps take time to watch! BTW the 1st video I watch was ur 2hr 240ZX ✌️

Anytime you’re trying to straighten a thin sheetmetal edge try a pair of duckbill pliers. Jaws are flat and wide and it’s what is used on aluminum skin in aviation.

Aw brother man make some rc slaps we can buy! I know i would rock them on my 240 as well as most of my rc arsenal.
If you’re going to boost the KA I wouldn’t do more than a new head gasket and arp head studs. They’re super stout already and the dual cams are good for 350-400 wheel pretty reliably on that setup. If your goal is lower than that there’s no reason to build the inside

love seeing you get into autobody, some advice that i learned from my instructor is when you wipe the body with degreaser, you want to follow it with a dry rag instantly because body filler absorbs liquid which could show through the paint at the end. but other than that great work keep doing great!

The Gloria fenders look damn close to e30 fenders. The round edges for the headlights and also the extension in front is very similar.
If you enjoy everything around cars like you do RC, scale modeling is something I'd recommend.
Tell franzy when spraying the bactine wrap it in plastic wrap and allow 15-20 min it makes the pain go away and also the redness! 🤙🏼 I own a tattoo studio in Springfield, Missouri “Light the way tattoo” 🤙🏼
