  • Today we're showing the 23ZERO and CVT shower enclosures next to each other so you can see the differences but here's a summary:
    CVT Pros:
    3 Bar System
    Thicker canvas material
    Gusseted brackets
    Shorter in length
    23ZERO Pros:
    Lighter
    Lockable arms
    More height adjustment
    Larger
Rear channel offers mounting at any distance
    2 zippered corners
    Shower bag loop
Longer brackets mount further off the rack if required
Both have a few pros and cons (any pro would be a con for the other) but now you have the info and can decide for yourself. Thanks for watching!

23Zero seems the clear winner. Not surprising. Thanks so much for the review!

You look into the Tuff Stuff enclosure and the DFG Offroad enclosure. They have build in LED lights and a hanging rod for the shower. I also like the Nomad one from CAOS but they only sell that in Australia.

We liked the Nomad as well. We were disappointed they don’t ship internationally. GT which do you prefer?

To me it looks the 23Zero uses a lighter-weight material, which means it may be pushed around a bit more with minor wind. In your video, it even looks like the 23Zero's walls are blowing around a bit more than the CVT's. I wish the 23Zero would have used a heavier 400D canvas rather than the 300D rainfly material.

There are at least 3 fold out showers (23Zero, KickAss and Nomad). Colors vary (think light transmission), Nomad has a ceiling cover and and LED light, Pockets cary (only one has a non-mess pocket (with flap) to keep your toilet paper dry. Do your research... all prices appear to be close enough where features will be the deciding factor.

Yeah, I made the mistake of buying the CVT version. Kickass & 23zero’s look identical with not differrence; however, kickass is $200 shipped.

Where do you hang the water bag?

Most people have a semi-permanent water container mounted to the roof rack, if using a bag I suppose you could hang it from a tree branch or somewhere else on the rack.

Spirit of 1876 Staff, I am interested to hear how they wear out over time, like material and mounting hardware.

We are too! Unfortunately we just got them in so we’re not too sure but both seem of good quality.

The flap at the car is to access your hot water system if you had one.........
