Loved the transition when stepping into the shower 😜
Great video again. I have one and agree totally with the review. Love ours. We use ours on our Prado. It works as a shower unit if needed but majority of the time is used as a changing room and toilet with the Thretford Portable loo when out for a day trip at the beach etc.
Did you know you can buy the kickass shower ensuite with a roof now? It really helps when you use it as a toilet as well as shower. 😀
best intro ive seen on a shower awning video. made me laugh!
Haha thanks mate! Glad you enjoyed it 👍🏻
Great way to mount. Wondering where you sourced the saddles?
They were just from Bunnings. They are just a tie down saddle. Check out the section where the straps are and they were located there. Thanks for watching
Nice video! Would you mind taking a measurement? I'm wondering what is the widest possible distance between the mounting screws that slide into the shower bracket is. To clarify, Kickass lists the width of the shower unit at 41". Is it possible to slide the screws 40" apart? 38"? Thanks.
Sorry for the late reply. The alumium track runs the whole length of the tent so yes its possible to slide the screws that far apart. Cheers Adam
Hey Mate, I've been wondering how to attached one of these to the van, this is the perfect way. How did you attached the bracket to the Van? Pop rivet or screw? And obviously silicon around it. Thanks 😁
Hey mate the saddle is from Bunnings and it’s just riveted into the aluminium header. The brackets are made from aluminium 3mm flat bar and bent to shape to suit. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching
Where do you place the dry/ dirty clothes, please?
ie. Is there a compartment?
We just hang the over the top rail. No dry compartment in the shower
How did u install on ur van
AT the end of the video I show the method i used. It was simply folding up some brackets and then fixing some saddles to the van to hook the tent in. Thanks for watching
