Hey, the new MotoTotes have non-rusting hardware now and a slight up-bend on the square tube so it doesn't slant down anymore. Also they beefed them up even more - the fat tube of the main beam is heavier gauge.
Bro ,I love the moto tote. So much easier than hooking up my trailer and pulling that thing. I hardly use my trailer unless I'm pulling it somewhere and want to keep my bike locked up out of sight out of mind. Love your channel man keep it up. 🤙
I went with a Black Widow and a Bulletproof Hitch that drops the carrier up to 6 inches. I also beefed up the hitch points with galvanized jaw turnbuckles feom the carrier ends to my tow hook chain loops on the vehicle. So you have the carrier neck that slips into the hitch; I added turnbuckles rated at 2,500 lbs left and right to stabilize the carrier that much more. There is absolutely zero sway or movement from the carrier at all. And zero issues after 5 years and over 12,000 miles of carrier weighed down travel. I like the carrier you have given it's low profile rails that assist roll on safety. And, you could.always add a motorcycle chain through the rails as a theft deterrant. I am always worried some Ding-dong gonna cut my ratchet-straps!!
Love your format, Man! Your shorts are wayyyyyy better than most long video formats. Very informative. Would rather have this kind of content than another motovlog! sending love from the PH!!!
I swear you got my sub just on your nonchalant DGAF attitude! Also, I saw you mount a bike on another video, and I was like "hmmm, maybe I should..." anyway mototote should sponsor you! Great work there guy! 👍🏾 👌🏾
I have the 70$ harbor freight one and imo it still does the job. Mind you I only carry 600cc sports bike or drz400. It does look sketch but I've gone to 3h away track days and it's just been fine! Eventually I'll upgrade to a high quality rack like this one. I have an SUV not a pick up so it's really useful to just strap it down at the back
Was worried my Moto Guzzi v7 was too heavy for this kind of carrier, but it looks pretty solid. Good video, so long as the forks are compressed its not going anywhere. Having the wheel chock seems like a must, but I'd feel totally comfortable hauling with that. Much easier than a trailer, and doesn't take up the entire bed.
I’ve heard Aprilia’s are amazing to ride but how has the reliability been for you? I’m interested in an RS660 but I actually like to ride my bikes not park them up broken af.
I'd say wait for version 1.5 or version 2 of the rs660. the rsv4's have been bulletproof for many years. don't believe people who don't own Italian bikes. they're morons
I understand the appeal of the RSV4, I have mine now for 5 years. I have the RR so I got the heavy cast wheels. I did pick up s1000rr as a stable mate and that machine is crazy fast. I never got along with the 15up r1 either.
Beautiful RSV4 bra!!.. i love them. Im just too tall!! 6'3... i bought a 21' Duc Panigale v4s.. love it!!.. was thinkin about an R1m aswell...cheers!! 🇨🇦
Did I miss the weight rating on this? Or the class tow hitch? Either way it would benefit greatly from a support strap above the bike to a connecting point on the vehicle. If there is no practical or safe place on the bike then an L bar, similar to a canoe carrier behind the rack would be a simple and effective accessory that would completely eliminate front to back rocking, and better yet, metal fatigue. Not to mention protection from a rear ender. There are also stabilizers for side to side rock designed for the rack/hitch point. Just sayin to benefit some that might not be aware. 🤙
Brah like your style, thanks for being differ and throwing legit knowledge..... you are the (ydbl) Yolo douche bag of moto.... straight and being legit. Used to watch him before I got back into moto vs stangs... keep it up🤙🏽🤙🏽
Depends on your vehicle's max tongue rating & wet weight of your bike. Don't exceed your tongue lb & you're golden. Mototote carrier weighs 60 lbs by itself. My 2019 MDX awd hauls my Kawi z400 no prob
AND LIKE ME! I wanna use this. I do a lot of Overlanding in my jeep is my tent and my camper and my kitchen lol. I want to be able to hop on a little Honda Grom or something and ride to town
What kind of Moto tote do you have and where can i purchase one? I'm new to biking and need to transport a Kawasaki ninja 250R 2009 and would like some guidance, please. Thank you
First and foremost, shout-out from Japan.... Shots fired baaaaabyyyy 🤣🤣🤣🤣... You really should make longer vids though. Love the content. Except when you talk shit about Japanese bikes because I ride a Busa 🤣🤣🤣
By the way I mentioned on your short but I mention it here they've updated the $600 one you featured with thicker steel and a couple other upgrades and they're warning on the site that they're increasing the price by $100.
Plan to buy the sport model - hauling a HD Pan American @ 580lbs w/ fuel 😳 Plan to use MACS tie downs! Anyone have any comments, experience or suggestions? Thanks
Love the intro 😍 👌 ⚡️⚡️my luck it's always something 09 DR.650 put it in the trailer 👍 all good 👍 start driving going slowly 🐌 and looking in mirror as the bike falls over I did everything correctly completely 🤣 except for they where dry rotten The last time I used em maybe 1977 on a Jammera XT 500 or was it the Jammera RD 1973 with expansion chambers that I had to sell cause it was my ex. No.1 and she was pregnant 🤰 🤣❔️❓️can't remember 😒🙄❓️❔️
Man those RSv4 are great bikes.....until you have a stroke when you get the bill for valve job or price out the tools. Bye bye Euro.....welcome back Japanese bike.....lol.
Slightly confused why you wouldn't just use the bed of the truck rather than the mototote. Makes sense for SUVs and cars but ramps are a hell of a lot cheaper than a hitch carrier, the bike is more protected from road debris, and it doesn't hide your brake lights.
truck looks like it has a cover... pain in the ass to take those off and heavy... and unless stored flat then bend. have one on my truck too... reason why the hitch things is needed. until i replace the hard cover the truck came with, the hitch attachment is forced.
Help me pls I will go get my new Kawasaki ZH2 on April 15 I bought the same rack But my suv is 3500pounds max Thé bike is 525pounds + rack 65=590 But mototote after I paid for it send me an email saying that I have to divide my car max by 10 So 3500/10= 350pounds My car is à Hyundai Santa Fe calligraphy 2021 Tell me if YOU would take the risk Thanks 🙏
Hi handsome. Get a couple of pairs of shock straps. You will thank me later. Plus get a lot of XRP, XLM, BTC, XDC, LTC, ADA &m more of XRP. GOD BLESS. PLUS PLUS, get a 2023 Honda Ridgeline rtle.
What are your thoughts on the tow hitches that have the bike partially on the road? One example is: czcams.com/video/uqeAwmB2DOA/video.html There are different types that are either mount from the front wheel or the rear, I just think having part of the bike on the road to carry its own weight is safer and easier on my car, but I’m scared if it’ll damage the bike as well.
The only problem is you are limited by your vehicles tow hitch rating. I would like a rack like that but my SUV tow hitch is a class 4 and I need a class 5 for my Tuono v4 and f700 BMW.

"Thanks for letting me live in your house.." Lmao
🤣
Well, sir, I came from TikTok. I’m here to follow and subscribe !
Awesome! Thanks
I am going to get one of these. I will put my HD Low Rider S on the carrier and out my S1k in the back of my truck.
Hell yeah
Great vid! Would you mind sharing the make and model of other vehicles that you have used the carrier with?
Will this work on a lifted truck???? I think my truck is lifted maybe 4-6" on 22's..... Not sure if it will be so steep i can't get it up on there...
It will be too steep.. you'll need a hitch with a 6"-8" drop

I've been a fan since this video 😂
Hey ! Can it hold an harley iron 883 on a land rover freelander II ?
Seems pretty good. I will probably be scared to use it on our shit road.
We have a lot of shit roads here too
Would these hitch racks mess up your rig's rear suspension? Ive been debating if I should get a trailer or a hitch rack
600 lbs is 3 adults, most SUV's and trucks have at least a 1kl bs tongue weight rating.

Yo you think you could tow a dual sport on the RS? Like a drz. jw
Yes they are lighter
I have always wanted one of these but terrified to put my MT10 on one.
Why is the Back of the Bike Not Strapped Down? I would like to see You do a video taking the Bike Off the Carrier.
Is this overkill for a Surron?
I think Im cop one. Lets go bayyybieee

Comparing to the $200 from Amazon?
Whats the name of your straps?
Was Julian response improve or scripted? That was gold though
Have you heard of the VersaHaul VH-Sport RO
Yeah, my buddy’s ducati sportbike fell off with that
@@adobomoto So it was your buddy fault strapping it I’m guessing, unless it broke I’m not sure how you can blame the product.

just toss a strap around the front wheel so it's far less likely to jump off
