I just got the notification that my box is shipping. I think this is another great box. I love that it contains useful items like a rotary cutter blade and the magnadot. A full fat quarter is also nice. I never appreciate getting little scraps of precuts and useless cute things in my sew sampler box. I'm really glad that they finally seem to be listening to their customers and giving us what we want. Now if we could only get some machine needles and thread that coordinates with the fabrics in each box. Anyway. Great unboxing. Thank you for being so clear and concise. Your hair looks really cute too. :)
I don’t know if I’ll use the magnifying for or the little macaroon storage container (but they may be GREAT prizes for a give away)...but I did enjoy the fabric and the pattern. My only real complaint is I’d like to make the lap version, so having extra couple FQ’s would have been nice.

Your haircut is cute. The same thing happened to me. Once they started opening up some of the businesses here in Guam, I went to get my hair cut and my hair lady cut my hair super short. At first I didn't like it, but it's starting to grow on me.

June Sew Sampler arrived today so I was finally able to watch your unboxing. I'm very happy with the pattern and fabric. Think I may make this one too. Looks like it will be fun! Happy about the rotary blade. My macaron is pink but not quite sure what I will use it for because it's so small. Like your hair. I'm sure it will take some getting used to but if you don't like it it seems like your hair grows fast. Probably will miss putting in a ponytail when you're sewing though.
I like your hair cut; it looks good on you. I thought the hounds tooth fabric looked more white with orange too but I guess everyone's eyes will pick it up differently. Love your videos! Hi Billie! I got a couple of the kits from the guys. Some nights, i do the same as you. I just tune in to watch them play off each other. The kits looked like easy projects i could whip up to do some practice FMQ on, and the price wasn’t bad, so i snagged them. 🙃
Girl- enjoy your short hair! I cut mine short about 8 years ago and never looked back. It's a very flattering look for you too! You'll love it this summer. Your hair is cute. I love the pattern. I have a lot of that fabric left over from making the All Hallows’ eve quilt so maybe I can make the bigger size. Not one for those small quilts The only negative is that for me this box is kinda of a repeat with the fabric.

I can’t imagine just making a 36x42 quilt. I’ll give it a try for a couple months. I’m also trying out Creative Notions and Quilty to compare. I've actually only ever made ONE of the quilts. It was a wall quilt (the one on the wall behind me in this video). I usually have great intentions, but...they never seem to come to fruition.
I received my box today. I am not sure if I like it. I do like the fabric but a lot of orange. Although I said I like orange. This box was disappointing. I do love your hair.

I have long hair to my butt since I was little but had cancer then lost it but the plus was it came back curly and thicker and it keeps growing past my butt 😂

Ooooh, tough call. Creative Notions is themed nicely, and affordable. I honestly think it depends on what you’re looking for in a box and what your budget is. CN is probably the cheapest (other than sew sampler) that I get!
I really like the fabric and the magnify dot. I do not care for the pattern. The macaroon storage was not something I would buy. Should have included some orange Aurifil thread. Your haircut is cute
Not a fan. I think they were supposed to look like oranges, but they look like pumpkins. I may use some of my yellow and lime colored stash to give it a more citrus look..
Your hair looks good. I'm not excited about this box. That fabric is called all hallows eve doesn't really look Halloween with the patterns and the other things are just fillers it seems like to me. Pattern in good but it is June not September or October. Keep up the good job.

I do know the groups structured around the Sew Sampler box ask that we do NOT share spoilers and unboxing videos there...so, these videos are not promoted (by me anyway) in any of the sew sampler groups). There are a lot of folks that want a sneak peek before their box comes - I consistently get a high number of views on Sew Sampler when I post early. But, i understand that not everyone wants the surprise ruined. That’s why I do NOT set a thumbnail with the contents Of the box and I roll the spoiler alert and count down at the beginning of the video. So that only the folks that WANT to see the items can. Most other youtubers done even do that.

There are a lot of folks that want a sneak peek before their box comes - I consistently get a high number of views on Sew Sampler when I post early. But, i understand that not everyone wants the surprise ruined. That’s why I do NOT set a thumbnail with the contents Of the box and I roll the spoiler alert and count down at the beginning of the video. So that only the folks that WANT to see the items can. Most other youtubers done even do that.
