I really like the way you do your unboxings. You take time to add comments relating to the item with the knowledge of an experienced quilter. I just got my 1st Sew Sampler box and just loved it!!

I totally agree with you on the fat eights instead of the back quarters. So many of my quilt patterns actually call for the smaller size and it does save money in the long run. when I was 1st getting into designer fabrics I did the same thing as you. I got the charms, the mini charms, the layer cakes, yardage, jelly rolls everything... And now I'm finding myself trying to sell some on the secondary market because I don't really want 7 quilts of the same fabric collection No matter how much I love it.

Glad I am not the only one who collects fabric lines. At this point I could make several quilts and still have fabric left over. My fear is not having enough to complete one, let alone more than one. Call it a Newbie Thing. I like the idea of fat eighths.
My favorite is unboxing. I would never buy a box but I love the reviews!
Oklaroots has 'craft clips' with acrylic charms you could mark/erase on, as well as alphabet cork labels.

I got some small wooden clothes pins from the dollar tree and wrote on them with a fine point sharpy.

I have a couple of creative grid rulers, love them. Awesome idea, I have wonder clips and having them marked would be awesome.
Becca I went back to june because I didn't see you open the july or august Sew Sampler Box. The reason I am writing is because you and Tiffany were sewing the quilt project but I don't even see a Sew Sadmpler Box on Tiffany's channel and I haven't seen you do one of the quilting projects in a long time. Have you stopped? I just loved watching you make the quilt, it always made it eaiser for me to sew mine up. Please let me know what's up.

Went back to oregon after trying schmidt..
I knew different brands of rulers were different but I figured the markings were the same. I'd got a cheap 4" square one from Walmart but I'm not understanding it lol now I know I need a different brand.
Honestly - there are too many rulers out there to suffer with one you can't figure out. ;)
Best box in quite a while. I like everything in it, which is rare. I have other clips so I put those labels to work right away making the block of the month block. I'm enjoying making the flower blocks with much prettier fabric from my stash. I gave away the ruler because I already have 2 of them from other boxes, but is a good notion to include. (I liked your unboxings better when they sounded less like commercials. You get this box for free, right?)
This one sounded like a commercial? I didn't intend for that - interesting. No, I don't get this for free...I pay for it just like everyone else. :)
@@sewbecca Oops! Sorry, I thought you did. It just seems like you are so completely positive about everything in the box recently whereas your earlier ones seemed more objective. I think this box is great, but sometimes they aren't so good. I still enjoy your unboxings!
I buy the fat eighth when possible. Unfortunately, it seems the fat eighth precut is an available option about 10% of the time.
Well, if a F8 isn't available, then it'd be a FQ for me!
