It’s been almost 2 years, and I still miss him. I’m still imagining all the glory Barca could’ve had in the 2017/18 season if Neymar was still there. I generally don’t understand why he swapped the life he had with his idol Lionel Messi and with Luis Suarez a great friend on and off the pitch for the life he is having at PSG. Can’t even get past the round of 16 in the UCL.
Although I was sad to hear Neymar go I know that it was truly the right decision for him. It was obvious that the la liga betrayed him in multiple ways throughout this past year including disregarding Neymar’s wish for the replacement defender to be a friend from his old club santos. Neymar should be remembered for what he has done for Barcelona not for his act of leaving. Instead of burning Jerseys people should be hanging them. True fans of Neymar respect his decision.
