As whole King Ghidorah turned out to be absolutely fantastic but at the same time we have a few sore points. My biggest fear of King Ghidorah falling. Now despite these issues, this is still a great release. You need to be aware of what you are getting into when you pick this big guy up.

You can use rubber cement as well brother. Its doesn't destroy paint or plastic. It will create the firmness in the socket. Plus you can remove and reapply whenever you want as well.

I have mixed feelings...
Turns out that my preorder was cancelled, and now is a lot more expensive than I can afford, I'm devastated...
But now I'm watching your review makes me feel relieved and dissapointed at the same time, I think they just released this "standard version" just to repaint it and sell it again in a future...
Don't get me wrong, still looks awesome, but I think S.H. Monsterarts played safe (is a phrase we use in México, "Jugaron a la segura") to avoid problems with the figure.

Hey it was worth the wait.
This was such a great review Diego! If I have any issues with the figure is that his jaws could be fixed to resemble the film’s style. He honestly looks like a NECA figure with the heads. I feel like that they should’ve added a white tint with his nails and the spikes on his tails since they had a whitish color to it. Overall, this is a good figure to put up for display and also a good figure for many different poses. Hope to see more from ya soon!

I got issues with mine. Sometimes the wings on my figure pops out with the ball thing that make things move. Is there any way to fix that issues or has ot been like that?

I certainly admire how calm you are with this figure. My review was an unboxing/reaction type deal and you can see me panic in real time. The whole video was a disaster.

Finally got one of these. Looks incredible but extremely difficult to play/pose.

There will probably be a special color version with a darker yellow paint, like destoroyah

I only wish that we could’ve seen Ghidorah’s gold skin in the film, I get that he makes storms but cmon. I wanna see the golden scales on this guy. Still a great film tho

I also kinda think some of the other new realistic monsters are kinda weird to, but all that matters to me is how they portray the new guys

Nice man! I'm seriously debating getting this thing. It's huge and incredibly expensive! However, it does look like it will likely be the last fairly priced large S.H. MonsterArts figure we will be getting for while.

I love everything Godzilla, but just can't justify paying $180+ for a crap figure
the original king ghidorahs r better since they look the way the r and the color but other than that this one is dope
The only reason I can think of to buy this guy is that the original ghidorah figures are ridiculously expensive in comparison. Still, not paying this much for a figure when I could buy something worthwhile for less money, especially since it’s got the legendary design
I paid 300 dollars for it , and i have to say it really isn't as bad as people think it is. For me everything was fine , maybe because i didnt fondle with it alot and put much pressure but nothing popped out so far. Verdict : its basically a glorified statue and its worth it even at 300

My Ghidorah's wings had no problem at all, they were rather tight at first actually. However, Kevin's neck is a bit loose on the middle joint.
Side note: Have you ever thought about picking up the Revoltech Evangelion figures? I've heard that they're somewhat in Monsterarts sizing scale.

I can't pick just one, right now my top three are G95 Rebirth, Kiryu Heavy Arms and Gamera
This figure is such a must have for me. Neca quite messed up just not making one. Probably the coolest kaiju in KotM for me
They should've made separate wings that are folded and can keep a quadrupedal position.

Nice review. I agree with your assessment of the wings. Since they're so large and only one piece of hard plastic, I could see them possibly falling over and breaking. They really should have made them more articulated and maybe a softer material. A great review per usual. I like that you always mention possible issues that may arise, that really helps the viewer to make an informed decision.

Great review! I think the figure is ok but those wings are surprisingly heavy. The paint seems below the usual SHMA standard. "Special Color Version" here we come! LOL

You can glue the wings onto the pegs if you don't intend on removing the wings.

And the left wing where you put it in, I had the same issue but was fixed with desk tape, and it give mine a solid support. To remove it is tricky but simple when you get use to it. It worked on mine.

Edit: Scv just got revealed, lol. Glad i decided to get the first heisei ghidorah 9 months ago and not this excuse for a first release.
My only gripe with this figure is that the heads for the left and right are the middle head designs, when in the movie all three heads are subtly different to each other

XaviShinx finally a good agreement if you think about it it’s pretty good except articulated wings it kinda of a bummer but I don’t think the other king Ghidorah figure doesn’t have articulated wings but you can always repaint it but However don’t try it

I kinda wish that they made the wings more posable, have him be able to walk on them like in the movie. It’d help compensate for the fragile plastic that make up said wings.

Theirs technically a way to make the wings go down, but I highly doubt people would display it like that.
I absolutely loved this figure heck I actually don’t need stands to stand him up also for anyone looking for effect parts I’d suggest the Bandai thunder effects

It would be nice if Bandai or a third party made alternative folded wings for King Ghidorah. His is size is impressive, but inconvenient if you're trying to maximize space.
Another great review, man. Still waiting on mine to come in. I intend to display him low just out fear him falling and the wings breaking. They also should’ve included folded wings since you can remove them as well to help reduce eating soo much room on a shelf. Also KOTM comes out on Blu-ray next month :)

SCV hands down better figure in my opinion. The only thing this 2019 figure has that’s better is the molding of the foot.

I think they should implement bendy wires for the wings so they can be folded. Hopefully, there will be a reissue or special color version incoming. As always, this review is superb!

Since, I got mine earlier than expected, I still wonder about the Cradle. Because my Cradle cannot touch the ground such as yours can, Mine just has one leg touching the ground. Was there sop pushed to be a taller stand for the cradle or is there any difference?
