You said you felt like going through a story as you were flipping through cards. This might be a little out there for you but it is related. A board game named Call To Adventure. You flip cards over, they have cool fantasy artwork on them, and instead of rolling dice you cast runes. I read through the rules, watched a couple of videos on solo play, and dove in. Up to 4 can play but I only played by myself.
You start with a set of cards that can be drawn at random to play whatever but it's easy to see some cards are related and can be put together to play as a class like wizard or monk or warrior and such. There are a couple of supplements to ti but the original game is the best I think.
Rune casting is addicting.

Wow, that 10 of Pentacles definitely feels reversed! That card is the "family tree card" for me, and yeah, I agree it's in general a very positive card. I guess if I got it in a negative card position (I don't read reversals), I might read it in that way... but in a totally neutral sense, the 10 of Pentacles is a generally positive card.

The ending of idea of you, i thought was really sweet after selfish people caused them to split. SOTW agreed, the entire set is not necessary. I might get Litha, but I already have Beltane and 'May Day/Maypole' celebrations have been a part of life since I was a child - so it makes a little of sense to me.
