WOW. Scarily accurate!!! A very ambivalent “friend” just had a jealous reaction to a creative thing I did, and it has completely broken the friendship. And that last card, about authenticity, is definitely a message to me. I had to step out of my comfort zone to publicize my creative thing, and his jealousy has fueled a defiance in me that I think might help me plough ahead with still MORE creative endeavors! I have a funny story for you Ali, I’ve watched you around a dozen times throughout the years because sometimes it feels like you’re speaking through the perspective of someone I absolutely loved and told them so. He was absolutely my karma for being a shit person when I was young. I’m really sad to say that as much as I lived him and tried to change his mind and think that I deserved a small slice of his company: he kept holding me accountable for something that was outside of my control. Would I ever let something like this happen again absolutely not. But if you keep holding someone else accountable for hurting you even if it was both of your karma, then that is just a lack of compassion.
