Here's a List of the seperate BGMs put together: 1. Human Tavern 1a 2. Human Tavern 1b 3. Human Tavern 1a Revisited 4. Human Tavern 1b Revisited 5. Human Tavern 2a 6. Human Tavern 2b
I was in an RP server when I played. I collected all the alcohols you could get in the game and set up shop in an empty Tavern in Old Town, Stormwind. I would advertise and got crowds of players to spend money to buy my drinks and people would sit at the tables roleplaying. Amazing times. This was the soundtrack of my life.
This is awesome to listen to while doing homework. I'm in an inn somewhere in Azeroth sharpening my skills before heading out to find a rare artifact left behind by an ancient civilization!
3:00 is one of the most... beautiful songs in the whole world, to be honest. Seriously, the people who made the music for WoW deserve medals, grammys, oscars, Nobel prices even!
I love this , when I was bored i always went to Goldshire to buy a beer and sit in a chair and see all folks asking for quests listening this music was really peaceful.
I started at patch 1.8...man,that was so long time ago..i miss the magical first touch of world of warcraft..this sure brings back memories..my first roam on Azeroth, sitting and resting in the tavern aah, gold old times :)..Good job Blzzard, keep it up for Cataclysm!!
I first heard this when I dicovered Goldshire as my dwarf. I was exploring IF when I discovered the tram, one thing led after another and I would up at the Lion's pride inn. I miss how magical WoW seemed back then when I knew nothing as a newbie. Now my dwarf is lvl 81 and I've been all over.
i remember for a couple a years ago (when i didn't play wow) my brother played this and i thought i seems boring. But then i started as a human and i directly fall in love with all the things: the music, the beautiful places, the cool appearance fantasy of beast, humanoids etc. and yea the roles, classes... I can make this list more longer ;)
thank you so much for sharing this very under appreciated side of wow....i love the music i love flying through the different areas and listening..great post once again thanks a lot!!
no he jugado practicamente mucho a este juego y creo que tiene una de las mejores bandas sonoras de la historia de los video juegos cada pieza es mas impresionante felicitaciones al grupo de Musicos que crearon esta maravilla!
Omg I remember .... Old Town's Tavern in Stormwind. Was Roleplaying with a guildmate of mine, and we were just sitting on that big table with the numerous chairs, and having fun over Skype while we were always clicking the next chair and so rotating around the table. Then we had an ingame marriage by a very weird RPing Nightelf priest. 2 month later we met irl and became a couple xD
Just listening to this makes me want to go back and play WoW again, the only thing that is stopping me is the death of the game itself. After spending basically 9 months inside of Icecrown Citadel, managing to kill the Lich King on 25M heroic during the last week, really felt like an accomplishment. Now, well, when I used to log in back in December - April, I felt empty inside. The game had lost its appeal, nothing was as fun as it used to be. On top of that, everything is changed. R.I.P Old WoW
i listen to this while doing homework in my local library. makes me feel like a student from ancient times learning sacred knowledge in some kind of mages school or something. i love it
Ahh I can remember it like yesterday. I was a level 7 human warrior, standing in goldshire, not aware of all the things that would go happen in the world of warcraft. good times
I can't help but to think of the good memories in this game, and the thought of returning to it. But at the same time I know that if I start to play again, I will probably get bored and stop... I hate that feeling :(
I miss my old WoW friends , oh the time we buggered around in the tavern chatting about god knows whatever we wanted to without a bit of worry on our mind , how I miss you indeed ...
Every time I hear this music I think of Conan the Barbarian. There is a piece of music called The Kitchen/The Orgy, at 222 you can hear the influence. I tried to link it here to no avail.
this makes me want to play WoW again :D i think in 50 years i´ll still sit there in front of a computer screen realizing i´ll still need it :D altough i finally stopped playing a half year ago
It will take a long time for a game of the same epic quality as wow to show up.... It was hard tot give up wow for my studies, but sometimes i start a free trial and i play for a week to digg up some old memories xD
@MMarc14 it may not be magical but it will always hold a special place in your heart as a certain fondness for azeroth can never go away. once you have immersed yourself in the game, the patch can only make it better. its like becoming a completely different person which is exactly what some people in this world need to alleviate the effects of stress like my good self :)
This is not the old game I miss, but the community for sure !!! Just people who enjoyed playing a mmo with others... Adventure had such a delicious taste in this time :)
Why is it that every time I leave this game, and I curse it for its seemingly lack of inventiveness and originality, I always find my way to these soundtracks and always, without fail, reminisce for hours about times spent and adventures had on this fantastic game?
Go into a human or forsaken tavern and put "headphone mode" on. In between songs you can hear a bunch of people talking and someone going up/down the stairs. Not quite sure what theyre saying, but its really cool the first time i hear it. Why am i telling you this? I dunno
@Alvias very beatiful...althought it's just a game...it brought so many feelings to me...and now it brings a tear to my eye :)..this music is fantastic!
@THEFINALHAZARD I play on the Farstriders server. We go on raids, and we also have guild events for everyone where we play our characters and then we go dance on tables at the inn after drinking so much our screens get blurry LOL.
For all who don't know how to find the songs just download a mpq scanner which scans through the .mpq files in the wow directory and gives u the songs etc just copy then paste it in game and woila!
reminds me of levelling my first character, a human priest. I had a best friend that I would always level with, and when we decided we had enough we would hearthstone back to the lions pride inn, and sit or dance by the fire. good times ^_^
I remember the first time i played wow, i was a mage and a man called Frank said you can kill mobs 4 levels higher than you. that will always remain in my head
i never had heard the old tavern song since i only started playing on TBC when it was half way through released, but it's pretty awesome, i always loved these kind of music ^^ Pass me a flaggen on aile, let's drink up !

Never played an RP server despite playing RP groups all the time around tables.
Was it worth doing?
Luv and Peace.
This is awesome to listen to while doing homework. I'm in an inn somewhere in Azeroth sharpening my skills before heading out to find a rare artifact left behind by an ancient civilization!
*****
Agree with you! :o
Doing my homework right now
Its really lovely to see people who take the game not too systematically, you are just looking more like for a free adventure
Damn ... these songs are just so freakin awesome , i sometimes go to the inn in Goldshire just to listen to this .. :)
@@flyinggoose1456 I also read playboy for the Articles.
:-)
Luv and Peace.
critical nostalgia warning 3:00
+LeifgoesLive YES, dude this reminds me of my roleplaying days in WoW...
This brings back so many good memories. I haven't played WoW in about 5-6 years

0:56 makes my eyes well with tears of joy.
3:00 is one of the most... beautiful songs in the whole world, to be honest. Seriously, the people who made the music for WoW deserve medals, grammys, oscars, Nobel prices even!

Of the little time I spent on Warcraft, my fondest memories are of meeting players in the taverns. Such lovely nostalgic music.
It's the drum in the background that makes this awesome :D
no
CLASSIC SERVER ARE COMING!!!!
nice
The first song will never cease to give me major goosebumps. What a beautifully composed piece of music!
This song just fills my with happiness but I don't know why, Just love it < 3
5:23 starting my favorite sountrack tavern
That’s amazing. The world will continue to change, but the legacy of WoW will stay with us.
Man tears!
That is exactly my situation! Played it for 5 days and then quit because I got addicted, the tavern was indeed the nicest place in the game.

So true. This music is so magical 😍
Memories from Lion's Pride Inn in Goldshire in Elwynn Forest!
Best part ever that makes old feeling come up again :P
yep i agreed is the best
Fuck yeah man, that exact portion is my fav.
Its a fact, the world of warcraft soundtrack would have been eligible for so many awards, but because its in a game nobody takes it seriously
I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS FOR YEARS.
Good old Goldshire...
Good times getting drunk in Goldshire :D
that was a really good vid! I liked it!.
The beginning of this lol just gives me chills. Like the last feeling of hope in a world thats full of war. What a game man
Just an all around awesome soundtrack. Like, even if I wasn't emotionally attached to it through nostalgia, I would still love it.
no he jugado practicamente mucho a este juego y creo que tiene una de las mejores bandas sonoras de la historia de los video juegos cada pieza es mas impresionante felicitaciones al grupo de Musicos que crearon esta maravilla!
This is awesome really

What's up with the dislikes? This song deserves better. :(

this song is so cool and what I love about the tavern music is that its so easy to play on the guitar
i listen to this while doing homework in my local library. makes me feel like a student from ancient times learning sacred knowledge in some kind of mages school or something. i love it
Good for you, it makes it so much more realistic.
4:29 eargasm every time.
This part is a really good one :)
Gives off similar vibes to pirates of the Caribbean theme to me, ya know?
oh my this is the best resting music I've ever heard! :)
Ahh I can remember it like yesterday. I was a level 7 human warrior, standing in goldshire, not aware of all the things that would go happen in the world of warcraft. good times
The quility of the music in your videos is very good I think.

Back when community had some value. Now it feels like mercentary work.
I hope you are enjoying classic as well as others are:)
These soundtracks could bring an ex-WoW-player-grown-man to tears.
dont have to be grown up
I can't help but to think of the good memories in this game, and the thought of returning to it. But at the same time I know that if I start to play again, I will probably get bored and stop... I hate that feeling :(

it's changed too much :(
Why is it that every time I leave this game, and I curse it for its seemingly lack of inventiveness and originality, I always find my way to these soundtracks and always, without fail, reminisce for hours about times spent and adventures had on this fantastic game?
Low level Vanilla best best times and the BG were EPICCCC
2:53 - The best part!
Go into a human or forsaken tavern and put "headphone mode" on.
In between songs you can hear a bunch of people talking and someone going up/down the stairs. Not quite sure what theyre saying, but its really cool the first time i hear it.
Why am i telling you this? I dunno
OMFG LIKE THIS IF YOU REMEMBER IN CLASSIC EVERYONE HUNG OUT AT GOLDSHIRE LIKE 20+ PEOPLE ALL THE TIME
@Alvias very beatiful...althought it's just a game...it brought so many feelings to me...and now it brings a tear to my eye :)..this music is fantastic!
The first one is SOOO nice, i like that one the most xD
Interesting indeed.
@THEFINALHAZARD I play on the Farstriders server. We go on raids, and we also have guild events for everyone where we play our characters and then we go dance on tables at the inn after drinking so much our screens get blurry LOL.
when i hear these themes, i imagine myself walking into an inn, then i take a seat and lay my sword next to me and order a whiskey.
i like making a lvl 1 human and walk around listening to the music
For all who don't know how to find the songs just download a mpq scanner which scans through the .mpq files in the wow directory and gives u the songs etc just copy then paste it in game and woila!
Epic song
reminds me of levelling my first character, a human priest. I had a best friend that I would always level with, and when we decided we had enough we would hearthstone back to the lions pride inn, and sit or dance by the fire. good times ^_^
Nostalgia :D back when WoW felt really magical.
I remember the first time i played wow, i was a mage and a man called Frank said you can kill mobs 4 levels higher than you. that will always remain in my head
i never had heard the old tavern song since i only started playing on TBC when it was half way through released, but it's pretty awesome, i always loved these kind of music ^^
Pass me a flaggen on aile, let's drink up !
