What kind of game is that? Just people "gathering" in-game in a tavern and "sharing"? Like that's not a game... that's just staring at a screen doing nothing.

There are large communities of role-players on certain servers who focus more on their characters backstory and in person interactions than end game content

Same. That's how I played World of Warcraft. Not in a RP way where it's too extreme & people act like crazy. People who do that scare me actually. But also not in a soulless gameplay of numbers & endgame items that when it's done they just make another character or stop playing. No, me I played by immersing myself in the lore, the places & the quests. Basically enjoying the journey & not focusing on just the destination.
