- Hello everyone, in today's video we are looking at The Patrol Module by The Ripper. This module allows for automated token movement in an assigned area or on an assigned path. We will also be using the auto-rotate module which will allow for more natural movement.
The Ripper has completed a number of modules for FoundryVTT. I have included a link below in case you wish to support the work being done.

In the video I use "alert" and "spotted" interchangeably by accident. The tokens patrolling become alert first and then will potentially spot the characters and pause the game.
So cool! I didn’t know this module existed!
Perfect timing -- I quite literally became a Patreon supporter of ripper today! and just got d/l his insane mods heheh
Thanks for the great video.
Please do a deep dive on sequencer. Love your videos!!!
How do you get the tokens to rotate fully at each turn? when I try they rotate over the entire distance of the path.
Yes, this is my question too!
Same Question over here ! How do they rotate instantly ?
I had the same problem and then I came up with an idea that fixed both the rotation speed and the speed they travel along longer lines. Just draw with the polygon and stop it on each tile so it makes it think they’re supposed to turn on each tile instead of through the entire straight distance.
how do I put a explicit path and enable spot players?
Somehow my tokens only spot players while patroling randomly but not while patroling on a path. Is there a way to make them spot while following a path?
any update on this?
@@torry3861 there seems to be no workaround for the issue
I have the same issue :/ would be much better if they get spotted while the npc is following a path
patrolling a path does not work at all. only random patrol works, not sure why
