with the ripper 93 who makes several of these mods do you have to be an active subscriber to their patreon or once you have subbed and installed mods you can cancel the patreon subscription ? i have no problem paying for mods but i dont really want to keep paying
So I believe you can subscribe for a month, get all the mods you'd like, then unsubscribe, but if you do that then you won't gain access to any patches, updates, or future premium mods. So if a new version of Foundry or the game system you use comes out and it breaks some of these mods, you'll need to resubscribe to get the updated versions. Hope this helps! 🧙♂️
Feel like a number of these turn DND too much into a video game
I see a lot of people using the character models for PC that you show in the video. Are them from a specific mod?
Those character tokens come with the D&D 5e system on Foundry, but they're made by Forgotten Adventures and they have tons of free packs on their website. I'd definitely recommend them! 😁👍
What is the world map that appears in the simple quest part?
It's a map that I made for a portion of my homebrew world using an online mapmaking software called Inkarnate. I'd definitely recommend checking them out! 😁🗺️

I feel the same way! Which is why I desperately hope that theripper93 or some other mod creator makes a version of it that works with other game systems cuz it's such a great mod.
@@nattertot Sadly he's already said that because of the way Pathfinder works, he won't be making a Pathfinder version of the Epic Rolls mod.
Question, for the premium mods do I have to pay once or is it a monthly fee?
I believe that if you want to, you could technically only pay for one month then download all the premium mods you want, then cancel your membership, but then if there are any patches, updates, or anything like that then you wouldn't have access to them.
It's currently $9/month for the premium mods on Patreon. At least for the default version. You can pay more to get Early Access mods a month or so before they're released to regular subscribers.

What was the rosette mod the intro?
That was the Macro Wheel mod. 😁 It's also a premium mod made by theripper93 and can be really useful if you prefer using your abilities/macros via this mod as opposed to the regular macro bar or some other method.

I love when the GM takes away the control of my client and puts a giant EPIC ROLL banner over my screen
Yeah... because in the event where you'd use a roll like that, as a GM, you'd want to stop the characters from moving and do the roll. It's kind of the whole point of the mod, and follows the same concept as Dimension 20's "Box of Doom" rolls.

For this particular video I mainly wanted to showcase some premium mods because I feel like they're not talked about all that much. But don't worry, the vast majority of mods on Foundry are free. 😁
