    The best tip to increase fuel economy is to maintain the rpm meter below the speedo needle.

    My laura 1.8tsi Stage 1 plus tuned, gives mileage of ard 16-17 on good highways at speeds ard 90kmph. In Chandigarh city traffic its 8-10kmpl. Having 215/55R17 Michelins on Mercedes OEM alloys.

    the Kms and L texts are switched . It confused me , till you said 5.7L for every 100kms (Third Time)

    If that was xp95, u would get more mileage instead of 15.1 kmpl...
    I own a Hyundai creta petrol 1.5L
    I tested the difference between normal petrol and xp95... There is a difference in mileage of about 6 to 7 kmpl.
    I always fill the xp95 nowadays... Its good for engine as well...

      Even you get more mileage but you also pay around 6-10₹ extra. But you can have the experience of better performance every time

      It's good for engine too..
      So, koi tension nahi hein... Performance is main 💪⚡

      @@crabby4398 we started using xp95 since last 2 months and the mileage has gone up by 2-2.5 kmpl now the stage 1 octavia gives around 16 on highways and 12-13.5 in city and there is also a slight change in the performance.

    I get 17-18kmpl with my 1.8tsi dsg superb....when I drive on the highway mostly with light foot and cruise control on.......the tsi are very efficient if driven sanely.....

    We did 1300 KMs On DSG Octavia In a Single Go
    Got Mileage Of Near About 13-16
    Driving Speed on Average Was 140kmph+
    On Expressway Even Cruised On 180-200

    How reliable is the Laura engine, there is a 2011 model in bangalore, 5.5 lakh rs. 85000kms run. Is it good price?

      I’m not sure about Bangalore prices but according to Lucknow and Delhi, that’s very high. You shouldn’t pay more than 3 lakhs at most

      Automatic would be nice, if chosen well and manual would be always less expensive compare to dsg in terms of service and longevity.
