hello I'm new to square and not tech savvy at all. I learnt how to put an item in, however i dont see where i put the total cost of goods. Ex: bought 750 candle jars for $1650.00 My question is where/how I put the total amt of purchase many thanks

Adding item price requires a Plus level POS subscription. So if you are using a free version of Square, you likely won't have this option. Though you can usually get a 30-day free trial of Plus level features to test and see if you will get good use of the tools. You can get the free trial by visiting Squareup.com, or follow prompts for a Plus features free trial in your Square dashboard.

Working with Square is like a caveman beating on animals skins with a rock. Square doesn't even rate the label 'primitive'. Frustrating and cumbersome for even minor product volumes. Want to delete 50 items; you'll do them one at a time (multi-click per each item) or risk your entire catalog via the down/upload process. Find a bug on an item page on the website; too bad; they won't fix it.
