I think you just saved my life 🎉 - Thank you for sharing
Glad I could help!
Very helpful video! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Video was great up to the point right after Importing current catalog to Google Sheets. How do you add the new invoice information to that Google Sheets. You skipped that whole step to add new items. You imported current catalog then all of a sudden your new info is on the sheet.
I left my phone then came back, like oh she must really be a virgo if she typed out that whole Excell sheet. Man I wonder if there's some kind of template online I can find... 😂😂😂😂
On my 2nd watch I said
"OOOHHHHHHH"
hi jess
This was extremely helpful. My only comment is that the video is rather fuzzy and small. I'm hoping that's just me and I need to do something on my end. However, the blocks that come up from square with directions are hard to read. However, your explanations are very clear so I got past that. I'll be watching your other videos on Square, too. Thank you.
Thank you for watching :) There was a issue with resolution when recording, but i'm glad you found it helpful.
If your business is related to imagery not having an option to import images makes the import process just a little better than manual input because one will have to open every item and import the photo. I wish they had the option to import images as a batch process.
This is a highly requested option which is why I hope Square actually implements something to make it easier. That is one of the main items needed to list a product for sale online.
I should have waited till they released this function because i have 1,000 items and im trying to figure out the easiest way to transfer, i might have to create a shopify lite, import to there, than export them to squarespace zzzz
Hi, Jess. Thank you for making this tutorial. How would I add two variants on my CSV sheet? Example: Size and Color? Do I simply just add a new column in Google Sheets?
Adding variants are tricky, you will need to make a line for each variation options and it will need to be for each option. For example, if it is a tshirt with a different fabric, cut and size would need to be laid out like: Product name XS Cotton Short Sleeve
Hi Jess, hope your well I have spent a very long time today trying to import my products into my square account for my store and have still not achieved. Is it possible for some further assistance?
how can we did export clients squareup to ecuty?
can you help me please? kindly make a short video for this
Hi! For clarity, You want to export customers from Square to Acuity?
Good Day, very helpful.
Question… how can I avoid duplicating sku’s / items. Sometimes my inventory list may include items that are already in the app/ item list, so when I add at the bottom they duplicate.
The only thing you can do is do a quick search (cmd+f) for a SKU number in the sheet when you export it or with a search in the items list.
My spreadsheet doesn't have all of these fields and I can't figure out how to add the individually it keeps adding as a variant.
Can I import receipts that I purchase from say a business meeting dinner event or from a store of merchandise, parking for business travel.
I currently save my receipts onto a folder by monthly and calculate them separately for year end tax.
I need to add multiple new items each week. Once I have the template, can I just delete items that are already in Square and only import my new ones each week?
Yes you can. Select the option "Replace item library" and it will remove all existing products. Hope this helps :)
Hi! Thanks for the video! In my case after follow all the steps appears a sign ( 100 errors in your document ) why! I can’t import the inventory 😢 S.O.S
Cheers from antigua guatemala we sell empanadas and tacos too
Hi! Are there variations for your items?
Where on the computer does Square export the items library to? I looked in the Downloads folder and nothing. Any help will be appreciated.
They typically go to your downloads folder on a Mac, for Windows you should have the option to save it to a particular place on your computer.
Could I have more than one store ?
I am having trouble exporting items off my menu. It keeps saying there’s an error with a modifier
For modifiers, you will need to make sure each line in the column is marked "Y" or "N". If you leave any of them blank, it will throw an error.
Hi I'm using square for my Clothing but I have multiple of the same items but different sizes and colors etc do you know of a template for this? Have not been able to find anything yet. Thank you in advance
did you find a way around this as im having the same issue thanks
@@TheJohnmweaver under the column option name 1 I put size and then option value 1 I put whatever size the shirt is. And then option name 2 color, then option value 2 whatever the color is. For some reason square only allows up to 250 of these custom values so if you have a lot of different colors you might have to make them more generic/simplified depending on the size of your inventory.
