    I have a "new" 2023 model which appears to be like yours except it is "unvented". Although you can put your soap in the dispenser, I was told by an RVer with children that she uses a half-sheet of Earth Breeze directly into the machine on top of the dirty clothes.
    Another thing we did that should have been done at the time of installation was to put it up on a pedestal so it would clear the bottom rail of the closet and could be serviced.
    I copied your video and posted it on FB on a Tiny Home Group because there was a discussion about tiny home washers and dryers. I really like this concept. I appreciate you talking about how you clean out the lint. Anyway, thank you.

    Thank you so much. We bought a beautiful RV with only 3700 miles on it and the seller was great about including all the manuals...except for the WD. I have only used it once so far but after this I feel confident to try again. 🙏

    We have this exact model in our 2021 Class A and I detest it. This machine will only wash and dry small loads so it's less than ideal if you have more than two people needing their laundry done. The instructions that came with it were not clear and it took me quite a while to figure it out. Your video is clear and very helpful, so thank you. Can you do the microwave/convection oven next? I hate that, too. ; p

      I have a new Furrion Convection oven and it's self-explanatory, or I think it is. I like that each time you push start if you don't set a time beforehand it microwaves 30 seconds. I baked some sugar pecans yesterday, preheated the oven, then when the preheat cycle stopped, added the tray and baked the nuts for 30 minutes. What kind of convection oven do you have?

    Hello there! We just installed ours last weekend. We sold our stackable and got this exact model. I love the extra space switching from 2 units to 1 gave us, but I'm iffy on it. I started clothes at 10am and here it is 5pm and I just put the 3rd load in. But that's not what I'm iffy about it. I can handle the time. What bothers me is my clothes come out wrinkled with this one and one and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I tried not setting the dryer on auto and taking the clothes out, shaking them out so they're not scrunched up, throwing a dryer sheet in, but that didn't work. I'm not overloading it. Do you have this issue? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

      I was told that the Splindide could wash 15 lbs. of clothes but could dry only 11 lbs. I take all of the wash out before it's completely dry and hang it on hooked clothespins in my shower on a rod above. Nothing comes out wrinkled but then I'm washing tank tops and sweatpants, white panties and socks. And I'm washing for only one person.

    Such a nice and helpful tutorial. I live alone and would thing this would be just fine and also allow for storage that would otherwise be taken up by a stack. Why did you choose a combo? Kindest regards, -keith

    • @rvpathchosen2629
      @rvpathchosen2629  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi Keith, I chose a combo because it was going in my rv and there was only space for a combo and not enough space for a stackable. You are right, it is worth saving the space and this combo works great!

      I have a 2023 machine like this that is "ventless" whereas the one in this demo is vented. I bought it because it's just me in the RV and I don't have a lot of heavy clothes to wash. I've washed 8 panties and 2 tank tops plus some socks. I've recently washed some tank tops, socks, and 3 pairs of sweatpants (all had been previously washed elsewhere.)
      I have a shower curtain rod across the top of my 30X48 RV shower with hooking clothespins (plastic) so hang up everything to finish drying because I'm in S.C. and it's humid here. I remove the clothes before they are dry so they don't wrinkle.

      My drain is halfway up the wall and I believe there is a water pump. Before starting the drying cycle it spins like crazy and shakes the RV, which has since been better stabilized. This RV was set up for this kind of unit or a stacking unit, but there is no good way to put in a vent so we didn't.

    • @judyross182
      @judyross182 Před měsícem

      These are small washers and a Tide pod is for a regular-sized washer. I use half a sheet of Earth Breeze laundry soap and put it directly on top of the clothes when I do a load.

      @@freeatlast8282 I've read your issue several times and since I am so far pleased with the washer/dryer all-in-one cycle I haven't tried doing just one or the other, have you? When you say it doesn't dry, have you tried running the wash cycle w/o drying? Then have you tried to just dry a few things? I used to test software processes and that is the reason I ask, because there is a computer in there and it should allow you to wash and dry, wash, dry and if does not dry either way then that part of the circuit board/program does not work. It sounds like you did your due diligence by checking for blockage. It's been a year since you wrote this, what finally fixed it?

    Is that a Hotpoint ?

  • @davedebang-bang6168
    @davedebang-bang6168 Před 2 lety +4

    These are badged as Hotpoint in the uk, all owned by whirlpool, awful machines, reliability is terrible, bearings are crap quality, Never use pods, gels or liquids in washer dryers, these always leave a film that builds up quite quickly and is a breeding ground for germs and bacteria and the drying cycle turns this build up into a kind of solid cement, shortening the life of your machine, powder detergent is best for any type of machine , powder has built in water softener as well to reduce scale build up, cold washes are terrible as well, would you wash yourself or dirt greasy dishes in cold water, no probably not, so why wash clothes in cold water, everybody secretes grease from their skin, cold water does not shift this, and eventually you’ll find that colours dull and some stains will not come out all, this is due to a build up of grease on the fabric, cold water does not kill germs or bacteria either, this leads to mould and smells in your machine, there’s also been a huge rise in urine infections in women, a recent study showed that 98% of women suffering with either recurring or constant urine infection is down to underwear being washed in cold water so germs and bacteria both on the underwear and left in the machine was not being destroyed, Towels and bedding should go on a very hot wash, whites on a hot wash and colours on a warm wash, a minimum of 40 degrees ( 104 degrees in USA ) this is the temp of a warm wash, 60 degrees ( 140 degrees Usa ) is a hot wash and 90 degrees ( 194 degrees usa ) is a very hot wash or what we call a boil wash here in the uk A minimum of 60 degrees (140 usa ) is needed to kill dust mites from bedding and destroy dust mite poop ( the biggest cause of asthma attacks )
