- This video shows you how to use the splendide combo washer dryer model 2200. I have set it up where it goes straight from wash to dry without having to do anything in between. This particular model is setup in our rv.

Thanks for a helpful video! We just picked up our new RV that has the ventless version of this washer/dryer (model 7200XCD). I'm pretty sure it will work the same as the front panel and controls are almost identical. The only difference is: on the 2200 where the "Low Heat" button is, there is an "Iron Dry" button on the 7200.

In europe, Splendide is called Indesit, hotpont and Whirlpool.
To be honest. I like european washers more like american ones

Ok we are trying to install this model and wondering if you installed it yourself. Wondering what vent kit you used and how you did it as the vent on the dryer part is 3in but the Splendide vent kit is 4in. Did you buy extra to make the 4in vent work or did you find a 3in vent kit?

How to dry only
Everywhere I read that you add the 'liquid equivalent' to 1-2 tbsp powdered detergent. How much liquid (HE) detergent do you use?
I use the cup that comes with the laundry detergent and fill it about half way making sure I do not reach the max fill line on the washer. It usually ends up being about half full on the washer and that worked for me.
We just put this unit into our Rv and it doesn’t seem to be getting hot enough to dry the clothes. We had the older model so we are familiar with how to use it but I am curious if this is common or just a problem we are having. Iv ran a regular wash/dry cycle and just a dry cycle and the clothes are still as wet as they where when it started. Any suggestions?
*any issues yet? just bought an RV with the hookups for washer and i was considering purchasing one of these myself i'm curious if you've had any problems or issues with yours yet and how frequently you use yours*
I did not have any issues with the combo and used it a few times a week.

Thank you! I couldn't find any videos on this unit. We just purchased our RV and have this unit in ours. Was your rubber seal deformed? Ours was. I'm wondering if it settles after a few washes as the RV dealer stated to us. Will you please show how to do a wash and dry cycle together? I've done one load and had to come back to set the dryer. Any idea on how it gets rid of lint? Thanks again!!
Hi! Thank you for your comment. My rubber seal was not deformed but hopefully as you run your dryer it will hopefully reshape. I will gladly do another video and post it tomorrow with some more details on wash and dry cycles and how I clean the lint. Thank you!!!

The 2200 XCD splendide is a vented unit it throws the lint out the Exhaust vent when it on drying mode.
Just clean out your exhaust vent fins once in a while. Don't have to take anything apart just what you can see from the outside.
I have the 2100 vented it does the same but looking to get this unit since mine isn't working so well anymore.
Now if your is ventless I think you have to remove the lint.

@@omaraleman2002 Mr. Raven below is correct. I did notice on mine that after drying there would be some lint in the bathroom that I would pick up off the floor but not much.
@@raven7068 is the 2200 XCD just an upgarded version of the 2100? (Trying to get the latest model here )
How do you get the lock key off we are having trouble with getting it to even start?
If it has started then you have to pause the cycle in order to unlock it. One time I had it turned off and when I turned it on it would not unlock so I had to reset the power for the washer at the fuse panel. (Since I was not able to reach the power cord to unplug it). I hope this helps.
