People don't understand how much attention this going to bring hbcu this is amazing top recruits might start going to hbcu again especially if we start giving them more national attention like this because thier a lot of talent there that nobody looks at because thier not name brand schools
Not likely. HBCU can't complete with Alabama, Texas, USC, and Ohio State financially or in terms of viewership. The top schools pour hundreds of millions into their programs to provide their players with state-of-the-art facilities, a staff that includes full time nutritionists and strength coaches, and national television audiences on ESPN, ABC, CBS and FOX. The top recruits won't want to take 7 hour bus rides to road games when all the Power 5 programs can fly them to their road games. Which top athletes would want to play in front of a crowd of 15,000 when you can play before 110,000 at the Big House?

Jackson State's one of the best teams in the country in NCAA Div. 1 AA football. Instead of FAMU, the Tigers should've gone to the NCAA Div.1 AA National Playoffs. Deion "Prime Time" Sanders is one of the best football coaches in the country, for real! When Coach Sander's contract is up at Jackson State. "Prime Time" is gone! The big schools are going to come calling him!

Coach Prime needs to replace the offensive line coach and coordinator - with the dudes he's brought in they should be running the score up. The offense is too sloppy at times. The defense is legit and now JSU needs an offense to match them next season

This season is a good foundation for JSU to build upon but we have to be honest...That was not the best representation of HBCU football if we want to entice recruits to reconsider Power 5s. PVAMU and Jackson State's offense laid a complete egg on a huge platform like ESPN 2 with not too many other games competing for eyes. The overall play was very sloppy and simply not played at the highest level. This was missed opportunity to showcase HBCU as a legitimate destination IMO. We will get there in time tho.

@@supablack they lost to ULM because they are not good, you do know four or five other teams embarrassed ULM this year. Coastal Carolina beat ULM 59-6 and Kentucky beat them 45-10 , don't mention JSU beating themselves against a very terrible FBS school. They simply lost to the best team or there schedule, ULM would go undefeated with JSU schedule and JSu would have maybe win One game with ULM schedule

I would guess that you have him for another 2 or 3 years tops. Don't mean to be the Debbie downer but sooner than later a P5 is going to come calling. This man was a great player and is a special talent and the football world will again recognize this very soon. The duce will not be denied. A loving Nole.

That's so true... There's actually a lot of P5 teams that want him now, but they want him to get more experience as a head coach... Not to mention he needs to win at least one more title at JSU to prove he's not a one year wonder and that this season wasn't a fluke because the SWAC overall just wasn't good this year... If he can win another title and/or he can take JSU deep in the FCS playoffs, then that's a wrap.
