That man Deion is a damn good coach, he got every faze of the game on lock, he didn’t leave a single stone unturned. Made sure every single one of his guys were ready to play no matter the position, you can tell this team has good coaches and good camaraderie.
Travis was amazing. Freshman locked up literally 50% of the field off. insane. they went to him ONCE. his coverage was THAT good.
No lie they literally didn’t throw it his way and when they did he deflected it 2 of them his teammates dropped interceptions

He keeps getting top picks to commit to him instead of major D1 schools and he’ll be there sooner than he thinks. I call 2 seasons till he has the beef he wants. His defense and special teams are definitely nothing to play with.
Watching this brings tears to my eyes! The level of excellence that COACH SANDERS has brought to this program is amazing! These young men are playing their hearts out and don’t even have water in their home town! Amazing work JSU!! I’m a fan even though I went to ALABAMA STATE UNIVERSITY! ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾

You can tell by the way the OLine operates in the trenches. All phases of the team are being coached phenomenally. Special teams included.
I hope they get invited to the FCS playoffs this year. I’d love to see this team against NDSU and Madison.

Shaddeur Sanders played exceptionally well.. Despite the water crisis in Jackson Mississippi, Coach Deion Sanders prepared the Jackson State football team not just for a win, but a very DOMINANT win, just like he said in the press. But I can't help but to consider the situation going on with FAMU's football team. They're dealing with some NCAA eligibility issues and I believe they were missing a lot of players due to that situation. There were rumors of the FAMU's football team talking about boycotting because of lack of support from school administration.. so maybe what we saw today isn't the true FAMU

That was last game against UNC... who they scored eight times as many points on. FAMU got their star players back for this game. Jackson State is just that good. And all this after facing a city-wide water crisis.
Like the others have said, I can't give FAMU the benefit of a doubt because they had less players against UNC but played better than they did against JSU. The game against UNC was relatively close at halftime. JSU ran away sprinting with this game from the opening kickoff and not only scored more points on a defense who had two of their top defensive playmakers back, who didn't play in the UNC game but got held to 21 less points they scored on UNC.

Is JSU that good, or is FAMU that bad? When Deion Sanders first took that job I thought it was more of a marketing gimmick...where it would be business as usual, with Prime just adding his prestige to the program to make the boosters swell with pride and open their wallets. I had no clue he would be so active and serious in taking that program to new heights...and perhaps not far in the future to the big time. He is really taking care of business...from landing one of the country's top recruits to bringing in former NFL head coaches like Mike Zimmer(!) and bringing new and increasing attention to FCS football, especially HCBU conferences. So it's not a surprise anymore that Jackson State looks so good. Whether they are the best in their conference remains to be seen. And even if they aren't - yet - they'll still look like a professionally coached football team. Deion has been brilliant with what he's doing down there at JSU. And he's got to be impressed with his son! I know I was. There's no doubt now the talent in that program is only going to get better in coming years...with what Deion is doing there.
