Kevin Coleman deserved to get that 2-point conversion pass. If you'll notice, his tiny, true freshman, 165lb self held the key blocks for both of Sheduer's touchdowns. That's damn good football. That kid is special.

@@MrChinesename essentially high school level? Liberty and JMU was at this level not too long ago, and are already outperforming multiple FBS schools. They even got ranked; as we speak, Liberty is #22

HBCUs are not normally known for being great at recruiting players. Deion brought in some great recruits to his school, and those guys are MILES better than their normal week-to-week competition. It’s impressive what he has done, but he isn’t a HoF for having a massively more talented roster than his competition. If he can pull off great seasons at an FBS school with more equal opposition it’ll be something very impressive.

I wish they played in the FCS playoffs instead of the SWAC ducking participation because of its 0-20 playoff record. JSU needs to get rid of its 0-12 playoff record and show the rest of the country they can compete outside of its weak conference.

They’re #5 in the FCS polls. That’s not just HBCUs. I wish SWAC schools would start back competing for the FCS championship even though it’ll be tough to win.
As a JSU fan, the teams in the top 10 are pretty damn good. Their losses are to FBS teams and each other.

@@goodmoney8440 but to NFL teams it show/tells something different. A perfect example of what I’m talking about is when the ravens played a team a few weeks ago, and the defensive player for the ravens did not push the guy out of Ballin, strong enough, and he gain more yards and I believe it eventually led to a touchdown instead of ending the game sooner. And at that time the ravens was up. But the players on the ravens side, and the coaches did not like that. so yes it does matter
