Maybe one day the reptiles will be on the level of D-link, they definitely have the potential. A combo video would be much appreciated and very cool too
Wish the Diabellstarr engine would be more affordable, it seems really good in this deck but with 200+€ it is far from anything I can justify paying for cards and especially for a fun/rogue deck. I will have to look into other ways to play this deck. Good video non the less!
@Manuelbacon40 y would we need a fiend pile when labyrinth is one of the best if not the best fiend deck out there? Is there such a thing as a Pyro pile deck?
Would love to see some of the new combos. I threw my hands up with the deck during shizu-tear meta. Couldn't stand having my graveyard molested while tear played with itself for 30 mins. Is it actually safe to play without Aleritt now? How do you do the banish loop without him?
If you had the room, I would play Chaos Angel. Daybreak makes it really easy to summon and new ogdo monster can revive it as its removal effect triggers on special summon, not just by synchro summon. I made it like 3 times at locals and from testing online. It comes in clutch, but finding the room for it can be hard.
I dont like the evo + diabellstar in this. With the new ogdoadic and nunu, its very easy to find yourself locked into reptiles, plus, those could be more hand traps. With a combination of the 6 ogdoadic starts, snake rain, and reptillian ramifications, you can get off to the races fairly easily. Plus, i think lamia is a waste of a normal in this deck. Ive been testing with ken+gen, since you can use them to activate echidna, reptillian lamia, and black mamba on turn 1, plus, they allow you to run a bunch of triple tactics cards in the main and you can search for snake rain to play on 1. Reptillian lamia is also the best way to make baronne as a 5th summon to play around nib. Remember that you dont have to use keurse's special summon from grave effect if you need to hold back your summons. Any hand that starts with (reptillain) lamia or ramifications + nauya or snake rain makes a turn 5 baronne. You can also get there with a normal summon ken/gen line if you have a decent hand.
nunus only a lock while hes on field and the new ogdo is normally the last piece you use, so they dont conflict at all. i ended up cutting tge reptilianne package, can you explain how it gets to the races by itself? i let it go cause it felt like it required me to have otheR cards with it to play at all ken/gen may be the way to go with the deck tbh, i wished they were lvl 4 to makE imps, but they can still get echidna id also need some tips on what your reptilianne ratios look like and how you make baronne with them🤔
@@JustNutzProd just give me a sec and ill explain. Also, i really like using the new ogdoa early since its such a strong extender that plays around pretty much everything other than nib. If they ash you, the new guy just comes out and keeps your combo going, love him in the deck.
@@JustNutzProd Snake rain line: 1. Rain into (any), nauya, keurse, night sword 2. Special sword, Normal lamia (2) 3. Keurse reborn nauya (4) get whatever spell 4. Baronne on 5th This line gets baronne down on 6 or 7 if you dont start with lamia or ram. It can be made easier if you start with lily or serpent strike in your opener. Ken+gen line: (requires any way to discard or dump a keurse) 1. Ken+gen (2) 2. Keurse (no effect, 3) 3. Special lamia (4) 4. Baronne (5) Nauya line: (requires ramifications) 1. Nauya dump keurse 2. Ram for lamia + reptillian field spell 3. Normal lam (1) 4. Keurse + nauya (3) grab whatever spell 5. Reptillian field spell to trade nauya for lamia (4) 6. Barrone (5) (This gets to baronne on 6 with lamia in hand instead of ramifications, if you also start with nunu, you can get to baronne on 5 with only lamia.) All of these combos have a far easier time on turn 2 for getting to baronne if you are uninterrupted, and most of them leave room for you to extend and continue making a board. I was mistaken when i said the ramifications is its own is a starter, usually if it goes off, any combination of cards gets me there. Plus, it turns off apollusa, so i think i just like it.
@@JustNutzProd finally, the ratios, i just run 2 lamia, 2 ramifications, 1 field spell, one spawn, and 2 couatl. The spawn is optional honestly, it just sucks to draw the field spell with ram and not have a search target. So for me its a preference thing. I occasionally run nyami if im feeling spicy, but mostly just for fun. It can be used to extend with the ken/gen line though.
I also only run one of each of the ogdaodic spells, serpent strike, lily, and daybreak, though im considering a second daybreak since it beats imperm on keurse.
Interesting version, I played a somewhat similar deck without Evos before AGOV, but it just wasn't enough to really do much, though I also tried to focus a little more on playing around Aliens, I played Overlord, Ammonite, Kid and Stealth Buster in the Main Deck, all either 1x or 2x, but it just wasn't doing enough. Post AGOV, I actually have a Horus Therion Ogdoadic list, that performs pretty well to be honest, you have tons of grind game, easy access to negates and extenders. You can even lock your opponent if you want, by using Ken and Gen with Geonator Transverser and Nunu, but I don't like that variant much, since it is slightly more bricky. You can also mix Evolsaurs into the Horus Therion Ogdoadic deck and build up to 60 card pile for more negates with pretty much the same consistency, just ever so slightly worse, but it's 60 cards and I prefer the lower card count.

I left mamba out. Really like it as a future nice card, but it’s not lvl 4 so it doesn’t help us make imps and so just putting any reptile on field doesn’t do enough until we get a better link 2 or something to that effect
