My neurologist has never bothered to ask me how my mental health is doing. Twenty-two years of chronic, treatment resistance migraines. Not once. I always thought that my migraines and depression/anxiety were isolated from each other since I had suffered from them before migraines. I didn't realize it worsened. I'm on a new treatment that has reduced the number of migraines and I feel I have greatly improved my mental health. This lady's story resonates so much. My studies came so
easily before the migraines. I didn't remove my college books from the shrink wrap. Now, I want to complete a master's program, and just don't think I have the headspace for it because my memory is not the same. My working memory is completely shot.

Can I contact the migraine world summit for help? Can I? I'm not so sure about that.
