A Chinatown strip mall is running out of clean restaurants. In this week's second helping of Dirty Dining, we visit the fifth restaurant at the same address.
@v ttd Ouch! Well being that it may. Here in the states and working in pest control, It is painfully obvious. I try to coach them on US standards so the health dept doesn't get involved. However at some point, they get reported. It really isn't rocket science, the cleaner the environment, the less "pests" you will have.
@v ttd I'd like to see Health Dept's have more teeth. Unfortunately (like everything) politics gets involved and then it is a balancing act of shutting down multiple places, keeping people safe, people employed. I'd also like to see some sort of education for small restaurants to go through with their staff.
Not gonna lie, 99% of the time chinese restaurants are dirty. Go to the bathroom and there’s your answer!!!! Dirty and nasty. Imagine the kitchen and how they handle your food!
Problem is US citizens aren’t even that much more different. Like it’s not uncommon for people to think that gloves is enough to justify not hand washing. Some of these fellows think that they just washed their hands 10~15 minutes ago and think that their hands were still clean. But over that time period, they could’ve already touched their face, their phone, handle, etc. Boom, good job, you just cross contaminated everything.
I understand the reporting of dirty restaurants but... What gives you the right to enter a CLOSED private property for RENOVATION that may possibly be due to the health grade that they received? Then you call people COCKROACHES for going away from you on the properly that they are allowed to work in? That's gone too far. Get your head out of your ass.
Scattered like cockroaches? Wow that reporter has been on the job way too long.
Damn this whole series is about Asians
Racial profiling
@@europec2082it’s not profiling when it’s the truth
People don’t understand restaurant employees comes and goes weekly. This is a major reason why so many restaurant are on this show.
- But in the first day you have to show them how to proper clean stuff and have hygiene.
That might be, but that's not our fault as a consumer. They still have to do proper training weather employees are there for an hour or for 30 years

Cultural differences perhaps, however that doesn't mean that. Because someone is of a different culture, that they are unsanitary or unclean!

why only go after Asian restaurants?
Just South Korean
Asian and Mexican have different sanitation views.
