What a great win by the Bruins to force Game 7 Tuesday night at TD GAHDEN! It couldn't have been any more bittersweet with the game 7 end to this amazing series. It was worth it to see Steve Dangle's reaction to game 6, especially when he claims that the penalty for tripping on Coyle was a good call... What a homer. He claims to be neutral and unbiased, but he has to be wearing beer goggles if he has not realized how many slew foots the Leafs have been throwing, their fanbase is literally blind to the point. Shane Lawler Jack Edwards has had an awful year commentating. Bruins fans love him because he is beyond bias. Doc almost never screws up, which is why he is in the position he is in. Jack often struggles to get names out simultaneously with the play calls. Also Doc has the best goal call of all time. His voice blends incredibly with the loud playoff crowds and their pops. The reason Nesn loses in ratings to NBC in playoffs every year is because of the excellence of Mike Emrick. Period.

As a Bruins fan I felt bad for the maple leafs…. it sucks that two of the top 5 teams in the NHL had to play each other in round 1. I felt like the winner of this series was representing the east (once Tampa and Washinton lost). I think I liked the old playoff format better. I know the leafs and bruins still would have played each other in the first round last year under that format but I liked that you could play the metro teams prior to the east finals.

He’s not that soft, and the kind of toughness that’s required to stand in front of the net is not the same as that to throw big hits or fight. Just look at Loui Eriksson, he did great in front of the net but was definitely somewhat soft near the boards (and, again, he was really unlucky with Orpik’s borderline dirty hit and John Scott’s really dirty one).
