man this game feels so familiar yet so different as I havent played in quite a while. when i first started the community was small and very welcoming to new players and the game was mostly simple to understand. the only creatures were those birds, worms, and I think there was one other but things like those rock monsters werent a thing yet, netiher were things like the forge upgrade crystal.
I dont normally comment but the looting guide for the mountain pass and the dust bowl was amazing and should be a video on its own, i looked everywhere and couldn't find a guide then randomly stumbled on it here
A useful tip: Don’t be TOO curious with the teleport shortcuts. The amounts of times I’ve teleported myself in between big rocks and hadn’t dont climbing tower to get out of is appalling. I had to starve myself to go back to spawn. Just a heads up lol
Currently your the only person I've see that has that jacket, I also have it and I frequently get compliments on it, genuinely a surprise to see someone who also has it
im on a server all by myself and have been struggling really bad. your short cuts to dust bowl and mountain pass have change my ATT life. add a thanks button so i can donate
The potion hook attachment is great for health potions, although I would recommend you only put it on an hoarders bag as its not really worth loosing the 2 extra slots on the regular bag.
If you don't have the recycler built yet and need iron ingots to build it, you can also build buckets with iron plates one gets from dismantling cauldrons. For a few spare buckles, if you have the bucket recipe, you can build buckets, then smash them apart for actual iron ingots. This also returns more wood than used. But mostly, this turns iron plates into iron ingots without the recycler. I don't think you even need iron buckles - copper ones will do, I think. Thus, using dismantled cauldrons also helps speed your way to building the recycler ASAP.
If you have climbing, you can use a copper pick axe to mine all the iron ore in the climbing canyon on the pathway to the climbing tower. Would loved to have mentioned this in the video if that part of the map was out at the time
You can also smelt down coins fur gold, with the starting 20 coins from the mailbox you can get 2 gold bars, try and find 6 more coins and you can get 3 gold bars for a hammer.
I'm coming back to the game after a few years. Decided to just get the Quest version so I can be rid of that dreadfull WIRE hanging over my head all the time. Boy I forgot everything. Could't even remember about attaching grass AND flint to sticks to make picktorches.
I will never understand how teleporting is "more comfortable" than smooth movement. Understanding that some people do it because it's faster, I'm just commenting on the "comfort" because I can't watch this video because the teleport movement messes me up.
A Township Tale is a game where you work hard and make everything you use, you need alot of patience for it, so does it really matter whats faster? Just do what you like and it will be fine
I’m sad I said the potion hook is downgrade and the lantern holder is bad, I’m considered “pro” ig cause I’ve been playing for 2 plus years but either way I love making potions so idc what you say it’s a godly attachment
I said that because tool hook does the exact same thing the lantern hook does and more. The potion hook can hold three charges in three flasks, while a side pouch can hold four charges in two gourds. Mathematically they are worse. If they allow gourds to stick on potion hooks to hold three and pickaxes to be attached to lantern hooks then they would have their own advantages. I really hope the devs make these attachments more useful
We are new to the game and have kept trying to play repeatedly because we loved your tutorial but the other players are such huge bullies to my son and I every time we try to play it has been no fun at all and we deeply regret our purchase. I'm sure it would be a fun game if it wasn't for all those mean spirited people. We tried making our own server but it was SO laggy we gave up .
I’m sorry you had a poor experience. If you are to join other servers, I recommend only joining servers with active moderation teams. I play on pc only and almost everyone I meet are nice folk, I cannot speak for the averages on quest. I hope you can find a better server at some point so you don’t feel like your money was wasted
There's actually a TON of empty servers with nobody in them. You could just play in some of them. I'm on a server called the Beguinners server. Folk are pretty nice there. There's always like 4-6 people playing and minding their own business.
I’ve found it difficult to get the big leather for the holders bag, how do you find that, also is there any benefit to doing the combat trial if there are all crystals in the furnace, also (I promise this is the last question) what do the other 2 crystals do?
1. Big leather can be obtained through killing wyrms or dias (deer in the forest). 2. Some of the combat trial loot respawns, you get a few fuel cores, molten cores, and crystals. You also get a duplicate crystal. Do it if you want to, not for the loot 3. Other two crystals unlock more metal and alloy you can smelt. Check wiki.gg for the exact list

Tip: if u want to decraft things faster or craft handles faster then use two flint instead of a flint and stone hammer it's way easier
