You are a life saver. I recently got the game and tried to play it on my own and gave up and start to look things up. I tend to play on my own or with friends and family because I get nervous when it comes to running into, unkind players in online games. Thanks again for making these videos! (I am using quest 2 so.... I'm missing out some fun stuff :p)
Almost every player in the game will be friendly or casual. Worst case I've seen is them ignoring or asking players to go away. Your fine as long as your not being annoying (annoying like following 1 player non stop for no reason)

This video gave some really cool insight into things I'll be checking out down the road. I wonder how much new has happened since I noticed this video is getting some age on its back. On the end you say "you will take hours to do the climbing tower" and i done it at the start of my adventure in 2 hours (tips for people who want to do it : do musculation and take your time to do it)
Tip: ALWAYS HAVE FOOD ON YOU. If you run low on food just kill the chickens around town they are very is to kill and give some good food when cooked and i recommend going to the smithy torches to cook the meat AND CLEAN UP YOUR MESSES they cause server lag which is not fun at all if you come across a item on the ground like a bone throw it in a storage container or keep it 😅
the video was made when drop on death was on by default. since the change, I still recommend going in with a party but its a lot less necessary now. you are right
I’ve started a solo adventure just for the fun of it but I am struggling so *so* very hard to find pages. There are none. Ever. I’ve hit a standstill because of it. I can’t make any tool handles aside from the smallest one- and that might as well be a spoon for how useful it is. Pain. (Doesn’t help that I’m on quest. Grr)
You should be able to find pages at an accelerated rate in the mines, since a lot of chests/boxes spawn down there. Also I you check the wiki, there are methods for chiseling every handle consistently without the page
the small forest was removed from the game on pcvr. it was replaced with the tarn which is on both pcvr and standalone. go south from the quarry to find it
I’ve done the tower probably 30+ times now and I enjoy it now. Problem is it’s still really hard to do as a new player. I could have been less harsh, but I still feel it’s important to let new players know what they’re getting into

The forest entrance will always be at the NE edge of the hebios camps valley. The forest itself is randomly generated

I hate the teleport moving system is that the proper way to move?
Its the most efficient way, but you are not forced to use it outside of some very specific situations
