- When Grace Njeri rushed her husband to hospital, she was hopeful that he would be treated and they go back home. However, on arrival to hospital, she was hit with the worst news. Doctors told her that her husband had only about 3 hours remaining. And in deed, after three hours, her husband breathed his last.
Here is a story of a woman who says that despite having lived with him for about 10 years and having borne two children, her name was even missing in her husband's eulogy!
We have walked together with this woman of valour, your hardworking amazes me. Through tears and joy I have seen you grow, my confidant, my shoulder to lean on, demon oppressor, my best friend, my prayer partner, my encourager with you no dull moments, my dresser haki with you I must dress to kill haki lol and do my make up well, mama fashionita, a friend to keep all this years haki, my chapati maker my best cook when she comes to my house waah na relax na kukula tu, best tata to my babies, a sister I did not have. Am soo proud of you be a blessing to others as you have been to my life. Go my gal go preach the word of God and may many be healed through your testimony. Niko nyuma yako mbele, kando darling.

In-laws disowning son's wife and children after death ,you will never have peace.God shall reward and renew their strength
In her case, I am of the opinion that it was expected. Their "marriage" started with eloping, it wasn't sanctioned or blessed. Had the man taken steps to pay the bride price and do other customary/legal/religous steps to cement the "marriage" then her in-laws wouldn't have disowned her.
In their (in-laws') eyes, this may have just been a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship.
Either way she was done bad and I am not belittling her pain.
